Sooooo Amber Heard was arrested for abusing her girlfriend in 2009? 

Also, she was caught falsifying legal documents before and basically trying to go around the system for her own selfish reasons.

And she doesn’t want to press charges, because then she’d be subjected to investigation.

Now do you see why I’m not quick to jump on the let’s burn Johnny at the stake train.

I will wholeheartedly believe Amber Heard when/if:

1) Okay, she has texts, but those texts are very vague. I’m really trying to not discredit them and I really want to believe the victim (which might as well be Johnny), but if she has been saving them for 2 years why didn’t she save Depp’s apology? This would’ve blown up the media and there wouldn’t be any doubt he abused her. (as stated in the texts, he texted her appologizing) Why doesn’t the Stephen guy appear and defend her. Texts are the easiest thing to fabricate. 

2) Why did she start piling up the information right after it was discovered she spents more than she makes? Why didn’t she just present it all at once in court and get it over with?

3) If she’s trying to protect Johnny’s career why is she going left and right SELLING her pictures to magazines? Again, leave them for the court, use them as evidence, for such a high profile divorce case they were bound to come out. This way she would’ve shown she’s not a gold digger and raised awarness to domestic abuse.

4) And my personal favorite, the disappearing bruise. Where did it go, or more accurately where did the swelling go? Bruises around the eyes take at least 2 weeks to heal properly. Or how did her bruise move?

5) Why does she want the house and the car? Who wants to stay in the home they’ve been supposedly abused for the last 4 years? It doesn’t make any sense to me. 

I’m not trying to shame her, I’m trying to understand. Before you all burn Johnny at the stake, keep an open mind, we’re talking about something very serious, and even the possibility that she’s lying would make it harder for future abuse victims to come forward. The fact that she’s a woman doesn’t automatically mean she’s right. Just keep that in mind.
