I hope everyone is remembering to take care of themselves in chaotic times like this . Although it is 100% necessary to feel angry, hurt, betrayed, and anxious over the state of this country, it’s so easy to forget about yourself. Remember to have a meal. Remember to sleep. Remember to shower. Remember to brush your teeth. Remember to check your mind. And then get back to fucking shit up. We’re going to riot but we gonna be healthy while doing so .

And Bristol. Site of the very first 4th of July parade in the United States. The double yellow down the middle of the street is replaced with three stripes of red white & blue on the parade route. We love that.
We love all our cities & towns. We embrace the weird & unique and accept all of it. We even take strange pride in it. Maybe it’s because we’re the smallest; we can’t afford to ostracize any part of us.
The men and woman who stormed DC are not your friends. They are neo-nazi terrorists. They are what we fought back in WW2 on the beaches of Normandy and streets of Berlin. Yes, it can happen here.
