Today’s outfit, summer bamboo kimono which I bought in Okinawa.
Only one mistake was that I didn’t do obijime or obiage to hold the bow up on my back. I took a bus and people bumped to my obi when they get on/off the bus, and it was limply hanging on my back after a while… Good lesson.
今日の装い、夏きもの竹、沖縄で買ったものです。
帯締めか帯揚げをして後ろの結びを固定するようにすればよかったというのが唯一の後悔。バスに乗ったのですが、結構込んでいて、人が乗り降りするときに後ろに当たって、しばらくしたらダラーンとしてしまいました。沖縄では車移動が多かったので、教訓です。

#13 bamboo toothbrushes
Bamboo grows very fast, so it is the perfect material for an item that needs to be replaced every three month. Unlike plastic. A plastic toothbrush is used for a couple of weeks and then stays on this planet for several hundred years, since it will not biodegrade. That makes no sense. Switch to bamboo. Plus: You can just burry the old brushes in the backyard.

I’ve watched “The house of flying daggers”. It was absolutly wonderful! Amazingly beautiful! Even better then “Hero”.
(Many gifs with spoilers.)
Best tie and dye work for this shibori kimono depicting sasa (bamboo) over a faint lattice ground (the color play must truly be something irl!). OP is a genius because they paired it with this nice ryuusui (running water) haori, which should not work considering the dyeing styles differences, yet it WORKS!

Soothing kimono outfit, pairing an obi depicting cute suzume (sparrow) with this amazing tsukesage kimono depicting luscious bamboo (the texture+pattern placement on collar :heart:).
