I’ve been working on my bookshelves, getting them reorganized. 2 of them are done-ish, just 3 more to go

I am so guilty of doing this, and skipping pages a head to see how a scene is going to end to see if

Amren’s Collection

Amren: How can I arrange to receive more blood rubies?

Varian: ……The blood rubies were a THREAT not a gift? You’d have to commit crimes against the Summer Court to get more.

Amren: That can be arranged.

Varian: …………I forgot I have to go…………

Varian: *frantically speedials Tarquin from a broom closet* MISTAKES WERE MADE.

Night Court Shenanigans

Morrigan: Cassian, how often do you clean your knives?

Cassian: Whenever they get blood on them. So a few times a week I guess.

Morrigan: You stab someone several times a week?

Cassian: You don’t?

Building IKEA Furniture: Night Court Edition

Feyre: Has trouble understanding the instructions; convinces Rhysand to help.

Rhysand: Helps everyone else build their furniture and forgets to build his own.

Cassian: Loses a screw and spends the rest of the day offering favors to anyone who will give him one of theirs instead of going back to IKEA.

Azriel: Finishes building first.

Morrigan: Convinced she can build without the instructions (spoiler alert: she cannot).

Amren: Hires other people to build her furniture.

Nesta: Did not go on the IKEA trip.

Moments After Cassian Got Banned from the Summer Court:

Cassian: So you’re technically my employer… correct?

Rhysand: I don’t like where this is going.

Cassian: Say I were to… I don’t know…break something in another court on the job… Would you or I be liable for the damages?

Rhysand:CASSIAN. WHAT DID YOU DO IN THE SUMMER COURT?

Cassian: Let’s just say they have new remodeling opportunities.

Rhysand:Az, why are you lying on the floor?

Azriel:I have depression.

Rhysand: Is there anything I can——WAIT is that blood?!

Azriel:*looks at the blood puddle forming beneath him*Oh, and I was stabbed.

Feyre:*battling against Hybern soldiers*

Feyre: We are losing too many soldiers! How have you won battles in the past?

Rhysand:*in the midst of fighting* Cassian and I usually create a bigger problem that cancels out our original problem.

Feyre:Like what?

*Tsunami wave approaches in the distance*

Rhysand:Like that.

Nesta: Cassian! You are driving me insane! Shut up for a moment and let me think!

Cassian: *silently leans in and stares at her*

Nesta: That didn’t mean get closer *glares at him*

Cassian: *smirks* So…are we about to kiss or what?

Nesta: WHAT THE HELL CASSIAN?

Cassian: I’ve noticed what usually happens after you get angry *winks*

Rhysand’s Epiphany

Rhysand: *opens last birthday present*

Rhysand: Another black clothing item…… thanks. (Adds to pile of black clothes).

Morrigan: Do you not like it? We all heard you say you want to “revitalize your wardrobe” last week.

Rhysand: That didn’t mean I wanted all new black colored clothes!

Feyre:Rhys?

Rhysand: Yes, darling?

Feyre: Look at the shirt and pants you currently have on. Black is the only color you ever wear.

1.The Alloy of Law, Brandon Sanderson : 3/5  A bit of a change from the mistborn trilogy but very enjoyable.

2.Shadows of Self, Brandon Sanderson : 3.5/5 Another solid installment, enjoyed this more and more as I got to know the characters.

3.The Bands of Mourning, Brandon Sanderson : 4/5 loved this, taking the characters out of Elendel really worked for me. Can’t wait for The Lost Metal.

4.Illuminae, Jay Kristoff and Amie Kaufman:  3/5 Really enjoyable, the format was a bit jarring to begin with but I quickly got used to this.

5.The Emperor’s Soul, Brandon Sanderson : 4/5 Loved this read just wasn’t long enough for me.

6.Gemina, Jay Kristoff and Amie Kaufman : 4/5 Fabulous, more engaging than the first installment. Brilliant narrative, nice little world-building tidbits, great characters.

7.Obsidio, Jay Kristoff and Amie Kaufman: 5/5 One of the best conclusions to a trilogy I have read in a while. I’m not often floored by a plot twist but these guys completely surprised me.

8.Sixth of Dusk, Brandon Sanderson : 2.5/5 it was okay, not Sanderson’s best short but I appreciated its place in the Cosmere.

9.Shadows for Silence in the Forest of Hell, Brandon Sanderson : 4/5 Exciting and intriguing short. Hope Sandi writes more in this world.

10.Prince of Fools, Mark Lawrence : 3/5 took some time to get into but enjoyable. A nice fantasy with dastardly characters.

11.  The Rose and The Dagger, Renee Ahdieh : Did Not Finish. Didn’t like it so i put it down.
