dani4lane:

I saw this on twitter and I am bringing it here because I want people to read it so here it is (Its a lot but I think it made several major points):

I am bringing this back because for some of you I do not think you really get it.

I think these two quotes really captures what I think about Kate!!!

She has chosen to use her white privilege and status to oppress Meghan. Please do not say she has not because the plane stunt, the underhanded comments from Will and Kate’s PR, selling out H&M’s location, throwing Meghan under the bus to hide William’s affair(s).

The Coronation of Queen Elizabeth I – 15 January 1559

Elizabeth Tudor was crowned Queen Elizabeth I on this day in British history, 15 January 1559. She became queen at age 25 following the death of her sister, Mary I. Elizabeth would be the fifth and last Tudor monarch.

The Meghan Markle interview is a pair of millionaire nobles getting questioned by a billionaire in what I assume is the waiting room for paradise about their time with a monarchical dynisty and now people are discussing the rich tory propagandist who has just quit over a personal dispute with the millionaire super model. Screw them all I don’t care. Come the revolution.

Platinum Jubilee collection by Design Bridge for Fortnum & Mason

A corgi sits at the heart of design, topped by a truck wheel – a gesture to the then Princess Elizabeth’s time as a truck driver and mechanic during WW2. They are surrounded by racing pigeons, racehorses, a pearl necklace, royal swans, and lily of the valley, her favourite flower, which was included in her wedding bouquet. The cabbage is a nod to Prince Philip’s nickname for the Queen. All these elements together form the Crown.

thesussexroyals:

The amount of hate Cambridge Stans and royalists are throwing at Meghan making the freaking victims’ family’s have to defend her?? Y’all rancid. Imagine being so vile that people facing unimaginable pain feel the need to rebuke you. Find shame.

headcanonsandmore:

Whoever is running the official Discworld Instagram account made a Happy Jubilee post today and… I think they may have misjudged the mood of some sections of the Discworld fandom.

This is only within the last couple of hours; I wouldn’t be surprised if this list of comments and quotes grows over the course of the Jubilee weekend.

A new #platinumjubilee hashflag with a crown-wearing corgi called PJ will be active until 2022-08-26 on Twitter. The hashtag is trending now.

“Seriously though the Buckingham palace balcony is probably the whitest place in all of London. I don’t think anyone who’s a shade darker than Meghan Markle’s blessed-with-a-perfect-year-round-tan golden complexion has ever stepped foot on it (and as we all know even she isn’t allowed on it anymore). Nice to know that if you’re in the 40% of Londoners that aren’t white you’re deemed unworthy and shunned. Oh and nothing quite like those BP balcony shots to make you feel represented, included & seen.” - Submitted by Anonymous

“The royal palace balcony photos for this jubilee thing are perfect to text to all of my friends and family along with a reminder to write to our politicians to push them to finally hold the referendum that will abolish the monarchy. The reckoning is here. Free Jamaica!” - Submitted by Anonymous

“The problem with royal families nowadays is that they do not accurately reflect/represent the people that they serve. If I take a stroll in London I’ll be presented with a different picture than royals present from balconies (ofc there was 1 notable exception but that didn’t work out, both sides are to blame but it does much more damage to the Firm that it didn’t work out than it does the Sussexes) & in commonwealth countries the separation/difference between people there & royals is even more evident.” - Submitted by Anonymous

“You know the British monarchy and Elizabeth Windsor are a symbol of white supremacy when western countries, particularly european countries, celebrate and cover the platinum jubilee more than all the non-majority white commonwealth countries, including the ones -mind you- in which Elizabeth is still head of state in.” - Submitted by Anonymous

“Friendly reminder to the British royal family and its officials that Mixed race people are the fastest growing ethnic group in the UK. Given this fact this race based propaganda war against the one branch of their family that represents such growing demographic is not exactly very wise.” - Submitted by Anonymous

“News panels discussing whether or not the British Royal Family is racist is as useless as wondering if the Pope is a Catholic.” - Submitted by Anonymous

“One thing’s for sure: white people who’ve never had her as their queen are celebrating Elizabeth II’s 70 year reign more than her former and current non-white subjects around the world.” - Submitted by Anonymous

“Seeing little Black boys and girls holding up their signs and chanting with their family members at these anti-monarchy protests and rallies across the Caribbean islands fills my heart with pride, joy and hope. No more anti-Black Heads of State for our beautiful islands. The future is in good hands.” - Submitted by Anonymous

“BRF must have forgotten that if the monarchy is still standing it is because of William and Catheri

“BRF must have forgotten that if the monarchy is still standing it is because of William and Catherine! And no, I’m not getting biased here. Looking at the popularity polls, it’s confirmed how much people love them. Imagine if the Queen dies and William gives up being Prince of Wales and the King, would there be a monarchy reigning by Charles and the problematic spares that would be loved by people like it is today? No matter how much someone hates the Cambridges, the answer of the question is: NO.” - Submitted by Anonymous

“The safest path the queen could’ve took was to abdicate and go straight to will and kate. Her inevitably dying (though i hope i could still see her) means the RF’s popularity will go down. And king Charles and queen Camilla will just fuel republicanism (obvious reasons)” - Submitted by Anonymous
