This is Penelope! She was part of a group of rabbits someone released. Her owner recaptured her and had her sitting on concrete in a bare cage without food or water when my mother asked the owner to surrender her.
Considering her circumstances, we were pleasantly surprised that Penny has a very easy going and friendly personality! She’s sweeter than my family’s neutered bucks!
As you can see, she’s very pregnant in these photos!
Penny had 14!! Babies! Unfortunately only 12 made it, but that’s still impressive!
Even though they’re super adorable, finding suitable homes for so many rabbits has been difficult. Our area isn’t too big on rabbits.
Currently their eyes are all open and they’re starting to explore the world! They’ve been handled daily, and are located in North East South Dakota (but transportation might be able to be arranged within reason, or if you plan on helping out!). Indoor homes are strongly preferred.

it getting to cold szn so my hooman got me a warmable cat frien.. he has seeds inside him that hooman takes out n michaelwaves n it smells like…. yummy flower…. yummy… but can’t eat it !! an it’s weighted it make me very relaxed an feel like a baby bunny again :)

i like to wipe my stinky paws on hoomans pillow :) and i like to wake up hooman at 3 am when i have the zoomies and step on hoomans face :)) an i like to dig hoomans hair and blankets :)))
