#camp half-blood
….*drumroll*….
I’m working on a series of Camp Half-Blood themed earrings. There will be a standard version with a pegasus (like on the camp t-shirts as described in the books) but I’ll also be making variants specific to some of the cabins. So far I’ve got Poseidon planned (duh *g*) and probably Athena and Zeus as well. Love to know what other cabins people would like to have, though. :-)
(I, um, think I set this up to be replyable but if not feel free to message me, reblog or whatever! And if I didn’t set up the reply correctly, anyone who can figure out what I did wrong would be muchly appreciated. ;-) )
If you haven’t seen my designs before and are curious to know what kind of work I do, or if you have but just feel like checking it out again anyway *g*, here’s my Etsy shop:
Annabeth: Chiron, it’s time you stop treating us like children! and it’s also time to stop feeding us dinosaur shaped chicken nugget!
Chiron: But you guys love them
Grover: We’re adults now! Percy, tell him
Percy: *playing with dinosaur chicken nuggets* ROARRR
Grover: oh come on
If camp half blood had one of those big sibling programs
Leo: I wanna get another one, 5’3, curly brown hair
Annabeth:ok-
Leo: Like now, Chirons gonna flip if he found out i lost the other one
Percy: Wait we can replace them??
Percy: *drinking “something”
Chiron: No drinking here Percy!
Percy *hoarsely*: This is flour

I think that Disney should give us Logan Lerman as Poseidon in the upcoming Percy-Jackson-Series. We deserve an excuse for what they did to us with the Perry-Johnson-Movies… and I’m willing to accept this, and only this as a valid compensation.

some of the greek gods’ names are used as normal first names in modern times, like Ares (Άρης), Aphrodite (Αφροδίτη), a modern version of Demeter (Δήμητρα), a modern version of Dionysus (Διονύσης), Artemis (Άρτεμις), Apollo (Απόλλωνας) etc
So imagine a greek kid comes to camp half blood and just says “oh btw my name is Ares! My mom said she named me that because of my dad :)” and the kid hasn’t been claimed yet but it’s,,,so obvious they’re a kid of Ares but they can’t do anything so they just Sit There
Happy Birthday, Percy Jackson!
After the announcement of the PJO TV show adaption, I picked up my pen and drew this Seaweed Brain for the first time in a long time!

Your fav book is the last Olympian, or blood of Olympus, or Tower of Nero (if you’ve read it but if not then the Hidden Oracle) and Rachel is also one of your favourite characters.
I find comfort in in the fact I know no one at Camp Half Blood or Camp Jupiter was an iPad kid

When Percy dies, whether of old age or a monster, the camp mourns.
The ocean swells, swaths of forest wilt and the entire cyclops’ forge stops for the first time in a millennia to comfort the grieving brother in their midst.
But eventually life continues… and his legend lives on.
It lives on in the golden sword on the wall of the Big House, lives on in the stories older campers tell at the campfire, in the songs they sing about the Greatest Hero of the Modern Age.
The legend lives on as those same campers empty a bag of blue jolly ranchers into the bonfire at the end of summer, or save their blue skittles and m&ms all year around to add next year. It lives on as they tell the newer campers to do the same. It lives on with the unwavering dedication of a family who doesn’t forget.
The legend lives on as a new god rises from the prayers and sacrifices,
