Warning: Wounds.

“Look at you,” Whumper mocked. As they knelt down beside Whumpee’s beaten body, they tilted their chin up with their index finger, smirking. “You were so determined not to break, too. I was almost rooting for you.”

Warning: Captivity.

Whumpee sniffled, pressing their face into Caretaker’s shoulder as Whumper’s footsteps started to get louder. “They’re not gonna keep their promise,” they whispered shakily, squeezing their eyes shut with a muffled whimper. “We’re not getting out of here, are we?”

The lump in Caretaker’s throat thickened. “I- I don’t know,” they admitted, their voice cracking as they held Whumpee tighter with a tender kiss to their forehead. “I don’t know.”

Cat and Mouse p.11

[start] [previous]

[CW pet whump, slamming doors, yelling, broken bones, emeto/vomit mention (no actual vomit), vampire whumper.“

Danny forced himself to stay up all night until Ciaran came to get him. He was so, so tired, but that was good. Maybe he would actually be able to sleep through the day despite being forced to spend it with Ciaran. Fish had plenty of food and water, Danny had eaten and used the bathroom and everything, he should be fine. He would make it through another day, he just needed to be smart. He just needed to be good.

“Are you ready for bed, my dear little mouse?” Ciaran called as he descended the stairs. Danny scrambled quickly to the middle of the room, kneeling like he had been earlier, just waiting for whatever it was that Ciaran had planned. Sure, he hadn’t been told to do that, but better to do too much than too little, right?

“Y-y-yes, M-master.” He nodded shakily. Danny stared at the ground, too nervous to look up. Ciaran’s feet entered his field of vision soon enough. Danny stayed put, not daring to move without permission.

“Well?” Ciaran asked, filling the nervous silence of the room. “What are you waiting for then? Give me your ankle.”

Danny immediately adjusted to sit fully on the ground, offering his chained leg to him. Ciaran wasted no time, pulling Danny to stand the second his ankle had been freed. Hell, why stop there? Danny yelped as he was thrown over Ciaran’s shoulder and was carried up the two flights of stairs into his bedroom. Ciaran unceremoniously dumped him onto the plush mattress.

Danny couldn’t help but squeak as he was flung down, but landing on something so soft was a pleasant change from the hard ground of the cellar or the cheap mattress he’d been sleeping on. He looked up at Ciaran warily, but Ciaran had turned his back on him, stripping off his shirt after swinging his door shut.

Ciaran put on the softest looking pajamas Danny had ever seen and god was he jealous. He tried fruitlessly to suppress a shiver as Ciaran turned to him with a predatory glint in his eyes. Was the shiver from his fear or the chill in the air? Danny couldn’t tell, and Ciaran didn’t care. He simply relished in the power he held over his new pet.

A small, fearful noise cut through the silence as the light was shut off suddenly. The room was plunged into darkness, and still Danny could see a hint of the hungry red eyes of the monster trapping him. The bed shifted beside him, two cold hands maneuvering him to the perfect position to be a little spoon.

Danny let himself be pliable. He wouldn’t get hurt if he didn’t resist, right? Besides, it wasn’t worth it to fight. He would be able to sleep in a bed, with a blanket. That was more than enough incentive, even considering the person holding him. Besides, it didn’t seem like Ciaran was planning on doing anything to Danny in the bed. Nothing like… that. It really just seemed like Ciaran maybe just wanted company.

Ciaran’s body was surprisingly warm. For the first time in this awful place, Danny felt a crumb of comfort. He could imagine that the arms holding him from behind were someone else. Someone kinder. He was in a real bed, with a big, plush comforter and he was warm. He could hear a contented sigh from the man behind him. Maybe this wouldn’t be so bad.

“I think I was right, little mouse.” Ciarnan hummed. “You do make a nice little body pillow.”

“T-thank you, Master.” Danny said quietly. He felt a hand card through his hair, he could almost melt into it. For the first time, he felt something… nice.

“What for, mouse?”

“It’s warm…” Danny murmured tiredly. “I-I mean, um… Thank you, f-for letting me, um, for l-letting me be in y-your bed for tonight.” He tried to pick those words carefully, which was difficult considering he hadn’t slept at all, but he didn’t want it to seem like it was more than it was. He didn’t want it to seem like sleeping in a bed, or sleeping was a privilege that Ciaran could take away if he wanted. He didn’t want to give him any ideas.

“You’re very welcome, darling.” Ciaran yawned. It didn’t take long for either of them to fall asleep like this.

— — —

Both of them jolted awake at the sound of slamming doors and yelling. Danny nearly fell off the bed with the violence at which he jumped.

CIARAN!!!” They heard Marcus yell frantically, angrily. It was terrifying… To Danny, at least. “HE FUCKING ESCAPED, CIAR! HOW THE FUCK-

Ciaran simply heaved a sigh and sat up. Danny yelped as he was pulled forcefully from the bed by a hand in his hair. They came out to the railing overlooking the entryway of the house where Marcus was pacing frantically.

“He’s right here, dummy.” Ciaran said, still holding Danny by the hair.

Danny lamented the small break he’d had from shivering, the small break of comfort. His mind was racing now. Would Marcus punish him for leaving the basement, even if it was by Ciaran’s orders? Would Ciaran punish him for being woken up, even though Marcus was the one slamming doors? Danny resigned himself to the fact that today would likely be filled with pain.

And he was right. With a small movement of Ciaran’s arm, he was flung down the nearby stairs, groaning in pain as he hit the bottom. He looked timidly up at Marcus and quickly looked away. He looked angry. Shit, he looked so angry.

“Dunno why you were looking for him, but whatever.” Ciaran called from above. “Do whatever you want with him, I’m going back to bed.”

Without a word, Marcus had Danny by the hair and was pulling him back towards the basement. He made tiny pleas as he was pulled along, but it was no use. For the second time in 3 minutes he was thrown down the set of stairs. He screamed this time, a sickening crack rang through the cellar as he fell.

When he settled at the bottom, he cried, cradling a broken wrist. It felt like burning. His whole arm hurt, the pain radiating from the broken joint. It hurt like a tree struck by lightning, and his stomach churned like a lake during a storm. He felt like he was going to vomit what little food he had in him.

He wouldn’t have time to. Marcus followed him down the stairs, though he stayed upright on his descent. Mercifully, he grabbed Danny’s good arm, to drag him back to his bed and lock the shackle back around his ankle.

“I’m going back to bed.” Marcus growled. “I’ll figure out what to do with you later. And quit your pitiful crying. It’s disgusting. I swear if I so much as hear a whimper reach my room, you’ll fucking regret it.”

Marcus left the mess of a human curled up on the bed. Danny turned to lay on his side, elevating his bad wrist as best as he could by putting his one pillow between his side and his arm. He didn’t care right now. He would use the pillow, he would use the blanket. He had fucking earned it by now. Marcus would know that he didn’t deserve this reaction if he had just stopped for two seconds to figure out what actually happened.

Danny buried his face into the blanket and let himself cry.

Cat and Mouse p.14

Marcus paced in the living room, deep in thought. Danny’s voice drifted softly up the stairs; he must have been talking to Fish again. He paused, stopping by the basement door to listen to what he was saying. Betta fish again. Poor Fish had heard him ramble about those things over and over again since he stopped talking to Marcus and Ciaran.

Marcus padded down the stairs as quiet as he possibly could, fruitlessly as Danny turned to see him. He quickly stopped talking and returned to his usual kneeling spot in the center of the room, tilting his head to the side.

“Did I hear you talking? To Fish?” Marcus asked, even though he knew the answer.

“Yes, Sir.” He flushed, realizing that he’d been overheard. He hadn’t been quiet enough. He’d need to be quieter in the future.

“What were you talking about?” Marcus pressed, hoping to pull Danny into a conversation.

“Fish… Sir.”

“You were talking about Fish… to Fish?”

“Betta fish…”

“Oh, I see.” Marcus hummed, sitting on Danny’s mattress, softly patting next to him to call him to come sit. He frowned slightly when Danny hesitated. Patting again, he said definitively, “Come sit.”

Danny shuddered, eyeing Marcus nervously. He was tired, he didn’t even stand up. He just slowly crawled over to Marcus, kneeling in front of him, tilting his head and exposing his neck again.

“No, Danny, I said sit next to me. I’m not eating yet.” Danny didn’t have a chance to hesitate with Marcus already lightly tugging him to the mattress.

“S-sorry, S-s-s… Sir… I-I— th-thought–”

“I know, you just misunderstood, right?” Danny nodded fervently, stammering out a quiet ‘Yes, Sir. Sorry, Sir.’ Marcus carded a hand through his long hair, combing through some knots with his fingers. “I was just wondering if you’d tell me about the betta fish. That’s all. You’re not in trouble.” He assured.

“Uh– U-um… I d-don’t– Wh-hat do y-you w-want to know, Sir?”

“Anything at all. What do you like about them?”

“W-well, um, I l-like how they come in-in so m-mm— so many d-different colors.” Danny answered, petting Fish as she strolled over to him. “S-sometimes people see the ones in p-pet stores and think they look dull. But if y-you take one h-home and care for it, its color comes b-back and it’s beautiful…”

As Danny began rambling on, he visibly became more relaxed, like he was just talking to Fish again. His stutters spaced themselves out more and more as he went on.

“… And lots of people think that you have to house betta fish totally alone, but that’s not true! Females can live together without fighting, that’s called a sorority. And if you have a male, if you have a proper sized tank, you can put snails or shrimp or even other species of fish in with it. You shouldn’t actually keep them in those tiny bowls that pet stores have, they need much more room or else they’ll be really depressed. They need at least five gallons, but really you should have more, especially if you wanna put more fish in there.”

Marcus let out a soft chuckle at his long list of facts. He’d been going on for a good half hour, he’d gone on about everything from their natural habitats to their feeding habits to their reproductive habits. Marcus was pleased to hear him excited about something. It was the longest he’d gone without stuttering in the whole time he’d been there.

Danny froze. He’d ended up talking to Fish again, he’d forgotten who was there with him. He’d forgotten who he was actually supposed to be talking to.

“S-s-s— S-sorry– S-sorry, Sir…” Danny’s voice lowered again, the volume of his enthusiasm quickly dying in his throat. “I-I, um—”

“Oh, no– No, no, you have nothing to be sorry for, Danny. Why are you sorry?”

“J-just t-t-talked t-to much… W-was–wasn’t good. Shouldn’t t-talk so m-uch ab-bout stupid th-things…”

“It’s ok, Danny. It’s fine. I asked you to tell me about them, right?” Danny nodded shakily, shifting slightly away from Marcus. “Right. I asked, and you told me all about them, just like I wanted you to do. If I wanted you to stop, I would tell you, right?”

“Y-yes… Y-yes, Sir…” He whimpered despite his efforts to stifle it. “D-do y— D-does that m-m-mean y-you want m-me to keep going?” He wrung his hands in his lap. That wrist, though healed, still had that dull ache of mending bone. He didn’t know if that feeling would ever go away, but he supposed it didn’t really matter.

“You can keep going if you want to. You don’t have to if you don’t want to. You’re not going to get punished if you don’t want to keep going.”

“N-no hurt-t-ting?” He asked quietly. So soft it was hard to hear.

“No. No hurting, not unless you’re bad, right? Not from me.”

“M-my wrist—”

“Was an accident, remember? I was upset and I was too rough with you. I’ve been more careful since, right? I helped your wrist get better, hmm?” Danny nodded jerkily. “I’ve been trying to make it up to you. I’m trying to earn back your trust and pick up some of the pieces. Keep you from shattering.”

“Y-yes, Sir. Th-thank you, S-sir…” Danny said quickly, quietly, like if he wasn’t grateful enough Marcus would let Ciaran shatter him. Or worse, Marcus would shatter Danny himself.

Marcus sighed. It was obvious that Danny was saying that only because he thought he had to. That’s not what he wanted

“For fuck’s sake, can’t you see I’m trying to help you out here?” Marcus snapped. Danny flinched, pushing himself towards the wall.

“ ‘m s-s-sorry, S-sir, I-I-I— ‘m so-so sor-rry. I-I–”

“Would you stop with that shit?” Danny snapped his mouth shut. He could feel Marcus’ eyes bore into him with anger. What had he even done wrong? He was trying to do everything right, he didn’t do anything, did he?

But it didn’t matter if he’d actually done something wrong, did it? Marcus was mad at him anyway. That’s what mattered. That’s all that mattered.

“Stop saying shit just because you think it’s what I wanna hear.” He huffed.

“I–Ih-have to…” Danny whimpered quietly. “R-r-right, S-sir? I g-g-get h-urt-t if I d-on’t… Ih– If I s-say s-something y-you don’t wanna hear, th-then you’ll b-be mad.”

Marcus’ eyes softened just a bit. He was being unreasonable. Again.

“You’re right, Danny. I’m sorry. You’re trying to be good and I’m being too hard on you.” Danny didn’t move, didn’t nod in agreement, nothing but shiver with his back pressed against the wall.

“D-d– mm– d-don’t wanna m-m-make y-you mad…”

“I know. You’re being very good. I just got frustrated, I’m sorry. You didn’t do anything wrong.” Marcus assured. “I just don’t want you to get lost in there.” He said, tapping a finger lightly to Danny’s head. “What can I do to help you?”

Danny shook his head, a few stray tears trickling down his face as he kept his gaze locked on the mattress.

“D-on’t know… S-sorry– don’t kn-now, s-ssorry.”

“That’s ok. I’m sorry for making you upset. I’ll go upstairs for now and come back to eat when you’re not so nervous.”

Marcus made his way over to the stairs and started climbing before Danny stopped him.

“S-sir–” His small voice made Marcus stop in his tracks.

“Yes?”

“You d-don’t ha-have to l-leave. Sh-should eat i-if you want…”

“Are you saying that because you want me to stay or because you think I want to stay?” Marcus asked gently, though Danny flushed, embarrassed by the fact that he didn’t know the answer.

“D-don’t know…”

“Ok, how about this, then? I’ll go get my book and bring it back down, and I’ll read to you a little. After that, then I’ll eat. How does that sound?”

“Th-that sounds o-ok, S-sir.”

Marcus hummed. He knew Danny was still very likely saying only what he thought Marcus wanted to hear, but at least he was talking a little again.

“Get In”

The Merry Whump of May - Day 22
AND Phobia Whumper - Claustrophobe Part 1

[Office | Box | Laughter]
(tw: claustrophobia trigger, threat, blood mention, manhandling)

Whumpee’s feet fumbled and slid across the carpet as they scrambled to keep up with Whumper. Fingers bruised deep into their arm, wrenching their shoulder forward as they were dragged upstairs to the office.

Whumpee stumbled forward, tripping over the rug as Whumper shoved them into the room. They clattered to a halt on top of the antique trunk Whumper used as a coffee table.

“Get in.”

Whumpee glanced around the room. “Ge-….what?”

“Getin.” Whumper nodded to the trunk behind them.

Whumpee twisted to stare at it. It was- it was barely bigger than them! Whumper couldn’t be serious. “Wh-why?”

“Because you’re going to be bleeding a whole lot less if you get in yourself instead of making me put you there.”

Not the question.

Whumpee swallowed with some difficulty, but managed to turn on their knees, picking at the cool metal hatch pin until it came up. They stared over their shoulder. “Please - a-at least tell me what I did.”

Whumper snorted out a mirthless laugh. “You’re doing it right now. Does that give you a hint?”

Whumpee’s eyes twitched away, heat rising to their face, they started at the small dark corner of the box. Their legs and fingers were trembling.

No,all of them was trembling. The tremor wound from their lungs down through every horrified cell of their body, scratching at their mind and screaming at them to stop.

Slowly - so slowly - they lowered themself inside.

This ain’t your average Castys torture It’s set in a collab between me and @galaxywhump where Castys is stuck on SV-240 in the care of Motherfucking Daniel Rooney along with Wren (if you aren’t familiar with her series this is your sign to go read it pls thx (or at least read the synopsis so this makes a lil more sense ehe)) So uh yeah Daniel and Wren and the whole universe belong to Marti Castys just got reverse-isekai’d into it alrighty baby-

Castys Masterlist-SV-240 Masterlist

Ingredients: buried alive, immortal whumpee, suffocation, some head trauma and cracked ribs, starvation mention, muzzle, there is some dirt in the ol’ eyeballs, claustrophobia vibes (like Castys does not have claustrophobia but he is def in that kinda situation ya dig (omg im so funny)), worm on boy shenanigans but with extra spice

Castys wished he could at least find a comfortable position, but that was pretty hard with his wrists tied tightly behind his back, and the muzzle strapped to his face wasn’t helping matters either. Because god forbid he talk to himself while he was trapped in a fucking closet. And the worst part was, this wasn’t even the big boy punishment! Daniel, Danibus, Danimal, the dumb stupid Dan Man, had literally just tossed him in here with the verbose command to “wait” and left him to stew like a pot of soup. Castys wasn’t really stewing, though he was kind of hungry, now that he thought about it, because “unkillable vermin” don’t need to eat much, apparently. He was learning so many cool new things about his biology while he was stuck in this other world!

When the door opened, he was relieved for a second, because his boredom was over, but then he saw Daniel and remembered everything about Daniel and what Daniel thought was fun, and he wished he could ask him to just shut that door again, oh please mister sir Daniel sir I’ll be the goodest best boy for you if you’d just shut that so I don’t have to see your face for another half hour. Alas, he could not speak, so all he could do was stumble along as Daniel yanked him to his feet by the ring of his collar and pulled him out into the backyard. Wren was there, refusing to look him in the eye, covered in dirt and…and holding a shovel. There was a large pile of dirt next to him, too, and that meant…oh.

“Nnngh,” groaned Whumpee as she felt her body being turned. Her legs, on reflex, kicked out. But bedsheets as her body expected weren’t there, instead, her legs flew through empty air.

Whumpee groaned again, her eyes still closed as she tried to snuggle back into her bed.

Someone chuckled lightly as she tried and Whumpee felt her bed come up around her, embracing her.

Whumpee blinked, her eyes flickering open for the sun to pierce into. She tried to raise her hand to shield her eyes as she adjusted but found it bound to the other.

Looking around she realised she was not in bed, instead, she was up above the ground, arms below her. Whumpee looked up, and Whumpee saw the soft smile of Whumper as they carried her.

“No,” Whumpee whispered as all her senses focused in on reality. Cold stone surrounded them, passages and hallways. Whumpee knew where these went, the courtyard. The one slick with blood.

“What’s that, sweetheart?” murmured Whumper, looking down at Whumpee.

Whumpee struggled as the misplaced kind smile of Whumper shone down at her like the sunlight, her eyes pained just looking at the smile.

“W-what did I do?” stuttered Whumpee, twisting her body as Whumper’s arms grew tighter around her.

The pair were now in the courtyard, a crow fluttered off with viscera of some sort as Whumper’s shoes clopped on the flagstones.

“Hush now,” soothed Whumper, lowering Whumpee onto a chair beside another. “Whatever made you think did something wrong?”

“We are here!” Whumpee panicked, shaking on the chair.

“Ah, well, we are here,” smiled Whumper. “To view, not partake.”

Out of another passageway came a man, his bound feet being dragged along the stones, rubbing them raw and leaving a trail of blood as soldiers held him by the shoulders.

“Caretaker!” Whumpee screamed and she tried to leap up from the chair.

Whumper put out their arm, winding Whumpee and forcing her to hobble back to the seat.

Whumpee looked at Whumper, her eyes wide and her mouth moving but unable to plea like she wished.

Caretaker was dragged over to a chair blackened with blood. Despite his bleeding feet and weeks of less and less food, Caretaker still twisted and turned as the soldiers bound his legs and torso to the chair with thick leather straps. His hands however were cut loose just as one of the soldiers looped wire around his neck, twice and looked to Whumper.

Whumper gave the nod to the soldier as Caretaker attempted to pull the garotte off his neck. However, when he pulled on one of the lines, the other cut deep into his neck. Caretaker slowed his struggle, but struggled nonetheless as blood seeped from the cut.

Whumpee wriggled in her chair, her own hands still bound. “You said he could leave!” she screamed as tears that stung burned their way down her cheeks. “You promised!”

“He is leaving,” said Whumper, gesturing with their head to the scene before them.

The soldier continued to twist the wooden handles attached to the wire as Caretaker struggled and choked. His eyes looked to Whumpee and his hands dropped from his throat.

“It’s alright,” he rasped, tracing the outline of her face from the chair.

Caretaker’s hand dropped to his lap as his head also dropped, slumping forward as life shuddered from his body.

Whumpee couldn’t look at Caretaker’s lifeless body, still sitting bound to the chair. She squeezed her eyes closed, hoping she could go back to sleep and wake later to find this nightmare.

Suddenly there was a heavy thump on her legs and she opened her eyes. Whumper smiled at her and rubbed her knee, lovingly, as a parent would.

“That was a lot for you, I know. Let’s go back inside,” Whumper comforted, a sweet smile still on their lips.
