A little fanart of Crysta from “Ferngully: the last rainforest”. She’s absolutely adorable ❤️

A character created for a challenge on the theme “Victorian animals”.

If she couldn’t make dance her career, she made it her refuge. When the music releases its notes, when she begins to move to the rhythms of the chords, memories bloom in her mind, reviving sweet and precious moments of her life.

That evening, at the long-awaited prom, which made so many young mermaids dream before her, Germaine danced. She danced so much that life seemed, just for one night, lighter. For some dances, time was suspended. All that mattered was the music. The rhythm, the notes, her dress accompanying her confident and graceful movements.

I had countless technical difficulties during this speed paint that I’m dreading editing the video. BUT I like how she turned out. UNFORTUNATELY the quality ain’t the best cause just as I finished Krita crashed and all my work was gone. Luckily I had the recording of the image so that was there. But it ate at the quality a bit. Oh well. It turned out nicely anyways I’ll make the speed paint of this picture later.

Unfortunately my screen recorder crashed so no speed paint of this. BUUUT I have it done! Tsuki Ootori is my favorite of my OCs so far. I used two shading styles cause idk which one I liked better but here she is.

This is my contribution to this year’s Inktober celebration, from the prompt “Hunter”.

Since the discs finally seem to be getting distribution, it seemed a good time to show you all the artwork I did for the new POPEYE: the 1940s release coming out from your good friends at WB ARCHIVE.
Note that I tried several hats and hat poses on the piece where Popeye and Olive kiss the little runt pirate.
Thanks as always to Jerry Beck for getting me involved in once again professionally drawing my very favorite cartoon character.
