Oh, it is a beautiful day! The Mother of Pentacles is here to remind us how blessed we are to be alive on this earth. It’s the little things you know? It’s your cozy cup of tea and your favorite slippers or it’s the majestic sand dunes or a snow-capped mountain or a setting sun radiating over wild flowers. The earth is truly a comforting, beautiful, and special place. I am feeling a profound appreciation for the earth today and I encourage you to do the same. Look around you and take it all in. Feel the connection to the mountains, water, animals, trees, and plants that lives deep within your soul. You are of this earth and this earth is of you. Let that feeling empower and humble you, let this knowledge comfort and heal you.

It is also a good day to make sure to take the time for the earthly comforts and joys you prefer today! Personally, I’m going to take extra long drinking my oolong tea this morning and take a hot, candle-lit bath this evening. Enjoy the comforts that come with being in your body, soak it in, and let yourself be filled with gratitude. If you are feeling stressed, it is even more important that you make some time for comfort today. Do something for your body that makes you feel whole and content. This could be a bath or it could be yoga or anything that relaxes and comforts you.
The Mother of Pentacles is all about being resourceful and practical in dealing with issues in life so that you can lead a balanced, harmonious life. So deal with your issues efficiently and get back to what matters most to you.
Sigh, there is so much to be thankful for.
Love and blessings to all.

High OR Before the Rain & Show

Apr. 19, 2022

It’s been a high OR day as a storm approaches. Many parts of California are already getting rain and snow. The Sierras received 3 feet of snow in the past week!

There is a winter storm warning in effect for North Central California for the next 3 days. The National Weather Service says, “A strong late season storm will bring heavy snow to the southern Cascades and northern Sierra above 5000 feet late Wednesday through Friday morning.” Southern California will be getting rain on Thursday night into Friday, with snow in the mountains.

This has been a very wet winter and spring. It’s also been very cold in California and throughout the west. Last week a record was set in the Tri-Cities area of Washington state, with the latest recorded snowfall in the year. On April 11, 2 inches of snow fell, beating the previous record of April 1, set in 1935. This is an area that has been heavily gifted in the past two years by two different orgonite gifters.

Today also is our 8th anniversary of orgonite making. We made our first batch and watched the sky clear over LA on April 19, 2014. We have come a long way since then, with a much deeper understanding of the energetic war on Earth and the amazing impact we can make on restoring our climate using orgonite.

Hiking up the mountains is great because you get to experience All the weather

Wonderful mildly chilly lush temperate forests at the trailhead and then it just gets colder and snowier until you’re knee deep in snow in a frozen winter wonderland

And then you trudge back down until it’s all green and pretty again haha

Listen up, Tumblr. This is important.

Since February I’ve been working with a team of social workers, faith communities, and child care professionals to create an organization called Skookum Kids that would care for children in their first 72 hours of foster care.

There’s a huge need for this nationwide, but here in my home of Bellingham Washington it’s particularly acute.

When children enter the foster care system, social workers often struggle to find a place for children to stay. A sustainable solution to this problem has already been created in next-door Everett, Washington. A facility called Safe Place receives children as they enter foster care, taking pressure off social workers and giving the children entering foster care a much softer landing. Through divine appointment I met the director of Safe Place in Everett. And when I expressed interest in building an extension in Bellingham, he was incredibly supportive and encouraging. He shared both his business plan and a huge amount of hard-earned wisdom. We are starting now with the benefit of his experience and his full support.

I am optimistic that we could be caring for children as early as the first quarter of 2015, and I’d love to have your support. Our biggest needs right now are visibility and donations.

You can give through our crowdfunding campaign, and choose from a variety of perks only available to our startup supporters.

And I’d love your help spreading the word through email, facebook, twitter, smoke signal, carrier pidgeon—any means necessary. We need your help!

For convenience, feel free to use these links to share quickly:

(sorry, no link for carrier pigeons)

If you’d like to stay connected with Skookum Kids as it develops, you can subscribe to receive email updates, and I’ll be sure to keep you informed as things develop.

Thank you in advance,

Ray Deck III
