#chandra nalaar
Chandra is always on the look out for planes with beautiful sunsets or skylines or constellations or other such beautiful vistas. She marks these places for picnics to go on with Nissa. Chandra’s not super into admiring such things herself, but Nissa seems to love them. And while Nissa gazes at the skies, Chandra gets to gaze at Nissa. Win-win.
Your favorite MTG wlw power couple, Nissa Revane and Chandra Nalaar
A lil winter season version of my old Chandra n Nissa chibis that I made over the holidays and forgot to post!

“guy who carries a lighter” should be a legitimately recognized and honored role in society

So, I can’t help but notice that Nissa is also hanging out in the background of this card. Gruulfriends, maybe?
2022 Magic the Gathering Predictions
Before we get into spoilers for Neon Dynasty, I wanted to list out my (most likely incorrect) predictions for the year. These are gonna be more lore focused, since I feel that the greater narrative is gonna pick back up again.
Honestly, having a set with all joint planeswalkers would be awesome! And seriously, I’m still waiting for Gruulfriends!
Boom! Comics’ Magic series, providing plenty of healthy relationships. More pls
Honestly, with Chandra being one of the new main characters and the fact that the new team is heading to Zendikar in the next issue, I’d be willing to bet we see the return of Gruulfriends in the next few months. One can only hope…
“Tales from the Pit” Best of 2021
Mark’s Gatewatch playing D&D were absolutely my favorite of his comics from this past year!
2 MTG character fan arts I did!
Chandra is best flame bae and Lilliana is best manipulative evil bae.
My inspiration with these started out being a friend I had at UTSA who was really into MTG. He actually made these requests and I complied since I wanted to try my hand at magic art. Of course they were both still pretty unfinished by the end of the month. Some time later I made friends with 2 guys in my art school who are super into MTG and they kinda inspired me to finish these.
So there ya go!
