I can see it both ways like The Guide finding Lazlo after sneaking into the house to try to steal some stuff because she was lonely and realizing he should take his place on the throne. A whole episode, she’s trying to pressure Lazlo into it but he keeps dodging her and by the end he stops her and tells her, “Why do you need anyone else in that bloody seat when you keep boasting about how proudly you’ve taken care of this area since you were here. Nobody is more qualified for this than you.” And she’s in shock. Just pointing st herself like, “Me? Rule….. me????” The ending is her going into the empty council room and shakily sitting on the throne, scared at first. But getting comfortable and smiling
