Here’s one of my favourite projects this year - illustrating the iconic ROMA shoe for @puma! The original shoe, which debuted in 1968, was created to celebrate Italy’s victory at the Euro Cup in Rome. We chose to subtly reference its history by including the Colosseum in the background, illustrated in a geometric and modernist style reminiscent of the 1960’s.

Happy Halloweeen~ I did a bonus render of this Death guy I made for my last personal project. It’s finally finished, see it here:
It’s an arena from Pit People, remade in UE4. The Artstation page has more screenshots and process bits! Pit People is hilarious and super fun, and the world is craaazy; I highly recommend it.
Phew!! Now on to the next project. :’)

Originally the Colosseum’s floor could be removed within a short amount of time to make the ground deeper than usual. Then it could be filled with water for boats to sail in it, so naval battles could be arranged. Water was drained off from nearby aqueducts and could fill the arena within the very same day as the land fights happened. Read more

Made another pilgrimage to the City of Cortez, Colorado to see my best friend. We had so much fun together relaxing, watching movies, playing Minecraft, putting legos together, and cooking. I love going to see my friend because she is by far, with the exception of my future husband, who is equal to me in intelligence and wisdom. Im glad to have met her and I often don’t deserve her as a friend.
