1. How long have you been creating KakaIru fanworks?
I think I properly started creating KakaIru fanfics around the middle of 2020 because of COVID, but I only really started posting stuff towards the end of that year. I’m still pretty new to writing, so I’m still a bit unconfident, but we’re getting there lol.
2. What are you working on right now?
So many things. I have like, 9 WiPs rn >.<, but I think the fic that’s closest to being done is a modern AU where Iruka and Kakashi are physicists. I’m also working on writing drabbles and ficlets to get back into things.
3. What is your favourite trope to create for?
Idk that I have a particular trope, but I really enjoy writing bittersweet stories where tragedy has happened, but they’re working past it and things are getting better. If I was forced to choose tho, I think probably omegaverse if only because there are so many fascinating societal norms and aspects to explore and there’re so many things you can do with it. (like, I literally wrote a 1k+ word post to help world build omegaverse)
4. Which of your creations is your favourite, and why?
Oh god. Please don’t make me choose. I love all of them. But I think I’ll point to “Staring Into the Stars”. If only because I think it’s sweet how much Iruka and Kakashi love each other and are there for each other.
5. Do you have any WIPs you’re excited about?
Nothing in particular, but I do have a really interesting soulmate AU I’m fleshing out the world building on, so whenever I’m finished with that, that’ll probably be it.
6. Do you have any original characters? If so, tell us about them!
Hmm, not particularly. I haven’t really written many fics that call for an original character yet. I do have a very minor character who I wrote as Iruka’s sensei in a fic that I think would’ve been really interesting to figure out more, but well, things got a bit difficult for them.
7. What was your hardest piece to create, and why?
I think my most recent fic “The Quiet Moments” because it’d been a while since I’d written anything and I am/was rusty. It’s not my favourite, but I’m glad I was able to get something out to cleanse my writing palate as it were and hopefully make it easier to write something.
8. Do you have any favourite scenes from something you’ve created?
Ooo. Basically the entirety of “A Pocket Full of Pixies”. It’s a dialogue only drabble and I love how every line just adds new context to what’s happening as it descends into utter hilarity.
9. Where does your inspiration come from?
Heck. Idk. I think it comes from some combination of things I see in real life, books/media/fanfic I consume, and conversations I have with people both irl and online.
10. Which of your creations is the most meaningful to you, and why?
This one’s a non-KakaIru Iruka centric fanfic called “Only to Forget”(CW: DARK. Please check the tags if you are interested in reading this fic), mostly because it shows the beginnings of someone pulling themselves out of both a spiral and their prejudice. They’re not there yet, but there’s hope. And I think it’s really important to show that not everyone’s always perfect and that’s okay. Fair warning though, it’s a pretty dark fic thus the CW.

1. How long have you been creating KakaIru fanworks?
Since 2016. That’s the first time I signed up for an event and that gave me the courage to publish my works. I’m kinda shy.
2. What are you working on right now?
Right now I’m not working on anything but I just signed up for the Reverse Bang so that’s my next project. I’m very excited about it too.
3. What is your favourite trope to create for?
I’d have to say Idiots in love. It just has so much potential, you can’t go wrong there. Although, I think most of my works have been for events so I write what the event ask for.
4. Which of your creations is your favourite, and why?
That’s an easy one: A human’s worth. I struggled a lot with that fic, but I like how it worked out.
When I was writing it and after finishing it, I was very disappointed because I thought it had more potential than what I could write, but in hindsight I really like it. I think it’s very original and has a lot of background that makes it interesting. I’m really proud of that project.
I guess I learnt a lesson there too. We’re our worst critiques and we tend to be so hard on ourselves that sometimes good stories never see the light of being published.
5. Do you have any WIPs you’re excited about?
I’ve never written a multi-chapter fic, so no. But after the Bang, that will be my next challenge.
6. Do you have any original characters? If so, tell us about them!
So far I’ve stuck to Kishimoto’s characters because my plots haven’t asked for original ones.
7. What was your hardest piece to create, and why?
That would be A God’s Dawn. I had to create so much mythology to give form to my idea and so much of it never even made it to the fic. I always wanted to write more for that verse and still have so much more of that story to tell, but every time I sit to write it I get stumped. I haven’t given up yet, but I can’t be sure of when I might do it finally.
8. Do you have any favourite scenes from something you’ve created?
I think my biggest inspiration is my best friend. She’s always discussing ideas with me and encouraging me to write. She’s my sounding board and my cheerleader. She’s the first pair of eyes to read what I write and without her I wouldn’t be half the writer I am.
10. Which of your creations is the most meaningful to you, and why?
That would be the collaboration fic, The Perks of Promotion: Choose Your Own KakaIru that I did with anniemar, flailinginlove, CappuccettoRosso, Glommier, Hexadecimalrebooted, ladyxdream and water_bby. There’s a lot of us, I know.
I guess that project is the most meaningful because I was asked to do it and worked along so many wonderful people and creators I was in awed. I still can barely believe my name is alongside them all.
I think my chapter is the worst of the fic, but as I said, we are our worst critiques and it was an amazing experience so all is good.
1. How long have you been in the Ace Attorney fandom?
Not that long actually! I’ve started playing the Ace Attorney games in the beginning of 2021. Due to my recent interest in the law, I have been studying to become a paralegal (which is like a nurse to a doctor) in my college. The college I am studying in is an ABA approved curriculum. I will also be graduating soon as well!
2. What’s your favorite aspect of the Narumayo ship?
Their relationship can be interpreted in many ways whether romantically or not. I personally believe that most relationships should be built based of off respect and trust. Which I see with Narumayo, they form a great bond and undeniable proof of how much they care for each other.
3. What is your favorite thing to draw/write? And are you working on anything at the moment?
Interestingly enough, I sometimes draw anything that comes to mind but I favor more towards the romantic side. And yes, I currently have a lot of art pieces planned, mainly for the Final Fantasy Fandom!
4. (If applicable) What are some other fandoms you create for?
My most known works are currently for the Final Fantasy 7 Fandom, be sure to look out for those pieces in the future.

1. How long have you been in the Ace Attorney fandom? I’ve been in AA fandom since 2007 but I went on hiatus for more than 10 years and just came back in late 2020.
2. What’s your favorite aspect of the Narumayo ship? My favorite aspect of this ship is how strong their bond is. We have seen Phoenix going to extreme lengths for Maya. But we also see them vibing, being silly with each other and teasing one another. There’s never a dull moment when they’re together.
3. What is your favourite thing to draw/write? And are you working on anything at the moment? Sexy stuff is what I enjoy drawing the most. I have no WIP at the moment but I plan to draw more Narumayo and some non-romantic AA stuff.
4. (If applicable) What are some other fandoms you create for? Since AA is my first one, I’d probably make illustrations for Persona or The Witcher someday. I don’t have that many fandoms to be honest lol.

1. How long have you been in the Ace Attorney fandom? I have been in the Ace Attorney fandom since I first played the DS games back to back around 2014. I was a big fan of Capcom’s other franchises, so I decided to play them on a whim. I got hooked and eventually bought a 3ds to support the series and continue to follow it’s story (also read other people’s fan fics of course).
2. What’s your favorite aspect of the Narumayo ship? My favorite aspect of the Narumayo ship is their natural chemistry and friendship. Their banter amuses me, and the way they support each other is endearing.
3. What is your favourite thing to draw/write? And are you working on anything at the moment? Currently my favorite thing to draw is comics. It’s a happy medium of wanting to write something but also draw. I even have an idea that would work as a story or comic for this ship too but alas, procrastination is my default state. I always have ideas and plots in my head but the urge to draw or write is not always there.
4. (If applicable) What are some other fandoms you create for?1. How long have you been in the Ace Attorney fandom? I have created other artwork for Detective Conan, Street Fighter, DC just to name a few. I’m into a lot of fandoms and have ideas to draw for each of them but my laziness gets the better of me.
5. Are there any past works you’d like to share? Yeah, here are two of my projects I’m real proud of: A piece for a WonderBat holiday event (Click here!) and Mystery of the Crossword Puzzle, made for a coai secret santa exchange (Click here!)

2. What’s your favorite aspect of the Narumayo ship? Phoenix would literally die for her..! And Maya being too shy to admit her crush on him (or to quote Pearl her ‘SPECIAL SOMEONE’) is so cute T-T
3. What is your favourite thing to draw/write? And are you working on anything at the moment? At the moment I’m trying to get used to procreate and that Narumayo piece for the zine helped a lot hehe ;P
4. (If applicable) What are some other fandoms you create for? Mostly Fire Emblem right now. And more original characters.

@kenrik(same username on ao3) mostly writes for Jujustu Kaisen and other fandoms. They write a lot about gojohime (gojo/utahime). Oh and they’re also filo too!!
Any Personal Experience?
So I stumbled on one of their fics while scrolling through the gojohime tag and I fell in love! I think it was the one where Utahime was betrothed to Gojo? I’m not too sure but it is so good. I highly recommend it! I also reached out to them here on Tumblr and they are so nice haha.
This one is a series of oneshots but my favorite was Cast Away. It is gojohime in a pirate au aka one of the best things I have ever read. There are also oneshots like a zombie apocalypse au and a modern au!
As mentioned before, it is a pirate au (pirate Gojo and Princess Utahime). You have to read the oneshots first to understand what is going on (it is a continuation of it) but it is still good. There is one more chapter left too!
This is the one where Utahime was betrothed to Gojo. Okay so this basically goes through their life and their ups/downs. It is so good that the angst in it made me cry (I rarely cry while reading fics yall). I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS ONE!
