Personifying the 5th Paris Auto Show is a regal-looking Art Nouveau goddess, proudly sitting at the helm of the latest open-air automobile. According to the side panel, bicycles, boats, and hot air balloons were also on view.

Ramsdell studied at the Art Students League of New York, then left for Paris, where his work was shown at the Paris Salon between 1891 and 1898. This was the sweet spot for the French advertising poster, of course, and especially the work of Eugene Grasset, whose style Ramsdell appropriates in spectacular style.
Trying out Blender 2.79′s new Principled BSDF shader node! I grabbed the Chibi-Robo I made a while back and plugged in all the textures, added the background and lighting to match as closely as possible, and rendered that image above.
I’ll be exporting more stuff painted in Substance Painter to use in Cycles too! Fuunnnn~
Weekend project! Wanted to make something that loops and is full of pretty, pretty glass. I just really like shiny stuff. Real-time rendering glass doesn’t scratch that itch!

I’ve just been looking through the photos on my phone and came across this omen. It was taken in 2016 during a previous life (as I call it). I was in Cornwall on holiday and I stayed at a cottage attached to a steam railway. After everyone had gone and the railway was closed. I decided to try this.
When I look at the picture, I don’t recognise the girl in a headstand. She’s got so much shit to come but then I think about how I’ve grown and where I am now compared to then. It’s like the Tower card, there’s destruction and chaos, but beyond that, you’ve got the chance to rebuild on solid foundations.
And I can still do a headstand!
