Part of my Dark Kingdom series on Patreon deals with the dead inhabitants as well as the demons and fallen, heres a portrait of one of the Shades of the underworld. Hey all, been off social media for awhile now, still working away though, cool book illustration job which will be out early next year and some show works- one of which is the 9th Supersonic Electronic Invitational which goes online on the 3rd October. Like most gallery shows this will be a virtual show held via @spokeart/ @everybodylovesrecess in SF. Still working away, ive got a couple of show pieces that i will post about later but in the meantime, heres a look at a recently completed piece for my Dark Kingdom series on Patreon. ‘Chapel of the Hollow Hill’ is a bit of a homage to Louis Daguerre’s Gothic Chapel painting but mainly relates to the multitude of stories surrounding the Hollow Hills, in particular the queen of Elphame or the “Queen of Fairies” from the ballad of Tam Lin.
