My cure for burnout and art block is to take a “step back” and trying to redraw something from the past, so I painted again a Mulan screencap I did back in 2016.
I can observe my improvement, it’s good for my self esteem and it’s something I went through once so I am more confident in painting.
I can see I have a better understanding of proportions, shapes and color combinations.

“Glad to Have You Back” ✂️
This originally started off as a small, little something I made in anticipation for The Clone Wars’ final season. After it debuted, the effect that the writing, acting, and visuals left had me EAGER to revisit this painting! How incredible of a journey it’s been to see these two persevere since 2008.

DAY 05- Hela #MarvelMonth
She’s not a queen or a monster. I needed any excuse in this month’s challenge to paint the Goddess of Death!☠️✨. Played by the talented & legendary Cate Blanchett; her portrayal of Hela in Thor: Ragnarok was so memorable!
Whoever conceptualized her hair transformation into the horned war helmet will forever be a legend in my design Hall of Fame!✨Hope you enjoy my tribute to the coolest evil sister of the MCU!

So everyone knows that his secret was that he’s always angry, but did you know post-Endgame, his new secret was to be UTTERLY DEVASTATED? No? Then I guess it’s just me every time I watch that movie.
Can we all agree that the talented @MarkRuffalo is just incredible when he turns into an enormous green rage-monster? I cannot wait to see what he may appear in next for the MCU!✨Enjoy this painting!
