I’ve posted both of these individually but I took a bit of time to digitally merge them together into one big comp! This is hands down my favorite art piece I’ve ever done.
Interesting fact: 4 of these characters were played by Samuel L Jackson and 3 of them were voiced by Phil Lamarr, something I only realized after I completed these drawings.

Since things are opening back up some may feel self conscious of their bodies, I definitely have my ups and downs with self love. Therefore I make art that I want to see.
Studies show that black women with natural styles such as fros,locs, braids etc are perceived as less professional than their straight haired counterparts.
Still ridiculous and I hope the crown act passes everywhere. One shouldn’t feel the need to straighten their hair for an interview or for every single important event. Straight hair is fun and awesome but the keyword here is “need” versus a non biased preference.

Thought it was high time i got back into painting, right? This is one of my many ocs, Rominea, and she is an angel. Literally. Did I mention her story is going to handle grsm topics, and the relationshop queer people have with their religion? It’s something I’m excited to try out, and I think it’ll be my first comic, it won’t be long but it will be a book long.
