Hello, everybody! I’m so sorry if I’ve been MIA for the longest time. I’ve now become a working boy and it’s become nearly impossible to maintain this Tumblr account.
But I’m back to post my submission for the @emimikezine, curated by the hardworking @dettsu.
Just to recap: for the zine, I’m creating an assassin-slash-music school AU artwork wherein Mickey is a assassin-slash-classical violinist who gets involved with his schoolmate Emil Nekola, a jazz saxophonist. (Lol my apologies if the saxophone is inaccurately illustrated. I had a hard time with it.)

Hi guys! I’m back after such a long time. I’m currently working on the first chapter of my EmiMike/MichEmil fic, Monkshood County and I’m thinking of what artworks to make for you guys.
At the moment, I feel a bit rusty with my art skills so I decided to whip up this quick doodle of Sara and the unfortunate position she’s in with Michele and Emil.

I heard that today is the birthday of our favorite Canadian golden boy, Jean-Jacques Leroy, so I decided to ransack through JJ’s things to find a photo to put up– I mean, whip up a quick illustration of JJ with our other favorite golden boy (made of pure sunshine, puppies, and everything else pure), Emil.
So here you all go: a birthday artwork for Jean-Jacques Leroy on his 19th birthday. Happy birthday, JJ! Keep that JJ style on fleek! Some of you may have heard that I’ll be doing an artwork for the first-ever @emimikezine, to be curated by the amazing @dettsu.

EDIT: We EmiMike Zine participants have received word on the negative response towards one of our prompts (and my artwork and its original caption for it here on Tumblr became the discourse avenue for it), so we decided it was best to drop the word, “mafia”, in all of our outputs from all of our creative output for the zine. My apologies if my work has caused any commotion and discomfort amongst people.

EmiMike Exchange 2017 | A Gift for @lovelyisthenight
To quote the great Britney Spears, “ It’s been a while. I know I shouldn’t have kept you waiting. But I’m here now.” I’m here with some new EmiMike/MichEmil art for @emimikeweek‘s Exchange in celebration of our darling Czech boy’s birthday.
I made this artwork for @lovelyisthenight. I tried to mash her three requests (flower crowns, kisses, and cuddling) in one artwork. The one thing that inspired me to make this concept was the flower crowns, granted that I hardly illustrate anything from nature. This proved to be a bit of a challenge, but I enjoyed doing this artwork nonetheless. I hope she enjoys it too.

Hi guys! Daddy’s back! Well, not entirely back. I’ve been quite busy with my undergrad thesis, so I hardly got to make art. But I needed a bit of a sanity break so I decided to make a study of my next EmiMike/MichEmil art.
In celebration also of my blog going past250 followers(holy shit that means a lot to me, ‘yo!), I’m giving you guys a sneak peek of my new art as a thank you for sticking with me and my blog, for liking and reblogging my content, and especially to my EmiMike/MichEmil fam (y’all know who you hoes are lol love you guys) for keeping me happy to stay in a fandom like this one.

Order and Chaos
darkness can be warm and soothing
covering, enshrouding the constricting feeling deep inside.
this was not the darkness he knew.
this darkness was different.
it followed rules he did not understand.
a dark where he was unable to see but was aware
of rows upon rows of other eyes
gazing, seizing, preying
like freezing wind sweeping him into ice cold water
unable to breathe
unable to find the way back
still, there was snow
falling softly
settling in his hair.
he looked up and snapped back.
a warm feeling covered him,
she was still there.
like lanterns casting warm shadows along a smooth gravel path,
flowing into oblivion.
she was still there.
the bond that lead to chaos
saved him from the order of darkness
