They accuse me of being childish, of not wanting to grow up. I just don’t care about angst-ridden argudramas where everybody is mad at each other 98% of the time. You can keep your angst-ridden grimdark “everyone broods and then probably dies” gritty prestige dramas and CW-hormonasulks. I want to see friends going on an adventure.
You know what? This is what’s really great about Critical Role.
Because not only do you get to hear/watch the story of a group of friends on a series of adventures, but you get to hear/watch said story being played out by a group of friends having the time of their lives together.
As we get older things change and people change and sometime people grow closer while other people grow apart. There is nothing we can do about it its just the way it is.Sometimes we know that we are growing apart but we don’t want to believe it. It is a sad truth.
I have had many friends in my life and many of them have left as I got new friends. I know that some of my friends right now might not be my friends in the future. Some friends I miss some I could care less.
the thing you need to remember is to not be sad about it. they were in your life for a reason. You learned from them on who you are as a friend and as a person. You also learn what kind of people you do not want as a friend because not all friends are good one and can hurt you.
Even though you have grown apart you will always have that time together and that will last forever.
So it took me a few heartbreaks… But I’m so so SO happy to say I’ve finally found my soulmate! This man has given my life so much more meaning than I ever knew possible and I honestly love him with all of my heart, I’d be lost without his kind smile and loving arms to hold me and keep me strong. I’m not really a girl of faith, but I do believe that something out there put me and him on this earth for each other, he is just my everything. A lot of people who I’ve been close to in my life have turned their backs on me due to meeting this man, and falling in love has caused me to lose people I really didn’t want to… But sadly when you meet the person you fall in love with you enter this bubble, and it’s as if everything else fades away and all you can think about is that person you’re in love with. I hope that the people who have turned away from me in frustration at my lack of communication with them feel the way that I feel one day to understand how amazing it feels. I know in my heart I’m going to marry this man one day, and I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life building our adventures and taking on the world together despite our anxieties, we’re a team :) Thank you all so so much for being there for me in the years that I have relied on you and vented, and to the friends who have turned away from me just know that my arms are always open to you, and I’m happy to embrace you again should you want that of me. - Becky! <3
It’s so funny when my friends apologize for like not talking to me for a week or something because its like babe…….object permanence im sorry because i love you but time is different for me it does not matter if we haven’t spoken in a week or a month ill still love you lol but i literally be forgetting about people until they text me
