The newspaper headline says girl power is “raging”.  Is it any wonder?   Kenyan girls now overwhelmingly claim top examination scores, top honors and top university spots, dominating the fast tracks into social and economic power in Kenya.

The tidal wave of female academic achievement continues unabated.  Girls have overtaken boys in entries for science A levels in the United Kingdom for the first time ever. Females now make up 50.3 cent of entries in biology, chemistry and physics – meaning girls have overtaken boys. Experts forecast that girls will expand their lead to 58% of science entries in the coming decade.

Well of course other boys wear them. Why else would they make so many different kinds? They have whole stores dedicated to them. Lot’s of little boys have trouble holding their peepee. I’m sure you’ll grow out of it. But until you do we just want to keep your bed dry so you can get your sleep.

“I got to say, Lucy is out there you right now, talking about her instance with Bill Murray, and I did this whole video and sent it to her to back her up and she was like, ‘Nah, I don’t need it.’

Although she gave few specific details, Drew then went on to explain her version of the event that has been mired in Hollywood gossip for years.

"Okay, so what really happened was Bill was just in a – you know comedians can be a little dark sometimes – and he just came in in a bad mood and what you have to know is how much Lucy stood up for herself and that was the great thing that came out of an unfortunate circumstance.”

“She literally said, 'I do not accept that kind of behavior from you.’ And we all supported her and backed her up and we moved forward.”

Drew backed up Lucy’s recollection on her show, saying Bill’s alleged blow-up did begin with a “general” target and then “he zeroed in on [Lucy].” She then went on to say how important it is to respect and support each other in the workplace.

“I respected her then, I respect her now. I am proud of us as a team and a company that we didn’t tip toe on the egg shells. We dealt with it right then and there, we were strong and we moved forward and we didn’t accept anything less moving forward.”

We couldn’t possibly be more in love with Chelsea Baker. This High School Junior is the star pitcher for her school’s Baseball - not softball - team.

She’s a serious trailblazer. We’ve got a feeling we may be seeing her take her knuckle ball to a College Baseball team in a couple of years.

“As a junior player, Townsend was a tennis phenom. She won the girls’ singles and doubles titles at the Australian Open, the doubles title at Wimbledon and the U.S. Open and the singles title at the prestigious Easter Bowl in 2012. However, there was a problem. At 170 pounds, Townsend didn’t match the stereotype of the tall, thin, female tennis player. And for those at the United States Tennis Association (USTA), her wins weren’t enough. The USTA denied her travel expenses to the U.S. Open two years ago until she got in better shape.”
