Essential and Carrier Oils for hair
Im dying my hair soon and i think its gonna die *pun intended* so i was researching benefits of oils to the hair and thought I’ll share :)
Essential oils are distilled from the plant itself. They have the signature scent of the plant they came from. And they’re highly concentrated. For instance, it takes 220 pounds of lavender flowers to make a single pound of lavender oil.
Carrier oils (such as coconut oil, jojoba oil, almond oil, and olive oil) also come from plants, but they have a more neutral smell. And they’re not necessarily distilled down like essential oils are.
Here are the benefits of some essential and carrier oils:
Almond oil soothes and moisturizes the scalp.
Cedarwood oil stimulates the scalp and promotes hair growth.
Chamomile oil adds shine and softness to hair, and soothes the scalp.
Clary sage oil promotes hair growth and stimulates the scalp.
Coconut oil softens hair and increases shine.
Geranium oil strengthens hair.
Jojoba oil moisturizes the hair, adds nutrients, and stimulates the scalp.
Lavender oil deep conditions the hair, keeps it shiny, and helps control dandruff.
Moroccan argan oil moisturizes, nourishes, and provides antioxidants to hair.
Rosemary oil stimulates the roots, improves hair growth, and increases circulation in the scalp.
Sandalwood oil helps with dry ends, and adds fragrance to the hair.
Make sure to always use essential oils with carrier oils!

Remember to use these oils sparingly and research them some more before using. If you take all the precautions and experience rash or allergic reactions, stop immediately. Other than that, enjoy your healthy hair! >-<

Witchy reminder: It’s ok to have more than one book of shadows :)
♡ That naked witch in the woods
If you fill up one book, where are you going to put the rest of your ever increasing amount of spells, rituals, information, and all that jazz? In your second book of shadows of course! Or third, or fourth…
No matter which book you’re on, never stop learning about the craft!
Things To Research As A Green Witch MASTERLIST
A green witch is typically a witch who specializes and focuses on natural materials and energies. They are often skilled herbalists and probably enjoys gardening. Like a lot. You might be a baby green witch or an experienced one. Maybe even an eclectic one, no matter what, all is welcome!
I am most certainly not entitled to knowing everything about green witches but I want to help out some people when stuck on not knowing what to research.
As always, enjoy!

Witch of The Week
@justawitchygirl
What is ‘Witch of The Week’?
Every week, I randomly choose one amazing, underrated witchblr to feature! I want to make sure that more people discover these great blogs, and also to Wake Witchblr, because there are a LOT of interesting blogs to follow; you just haven’t found it yet ♀️
✧✧✧
JustAWitchyGirl is a devotee of Aphrodite and she posts a lot of sweet appreciation posts of her
Her blog gives you a daily dose of wholesome relatable Aphrodite appreciation along with plenty of posts directed at baby/beginner witchies.
She also runs the discord server 'Just a Witchy Coven’, which I absolutely LOVE. It has a strict anti-bigotry policy and everyone there is just so welcoming.
Currently, she is looking for a mentor. I’m not sure if she is still looking atm, but if you feel you would be interested in this, definitely contact her, and join her discord too, while youre at it!
Sometimes I get really self conscious about still loving soft toys, making daisy chains, jumping over streams and getting really, really excited when I see ducklings.
And other times I think, fuck the people who made me feel like I can’t still enjoy those things. Being in touch with your inner child is not something to be ashamed of! <3
I’ll be honest, I like plants more than I like people.

Snowy Day Tea
- 4 tbsp black tea
- 2 tbsp cinnamon
- 2 tbsp orange peel
- 2 tbsp chamomile
- 1 tbs ginger
- 1 tsp clove buds
Okay but this is definitely my new favorite tea.
Ways to improve it though?
- Cardamom pods
- Fresh ginger and orange peels
- Fenugreek maybe?
- Swap out black tea with hot chocolate
