I’ve uploaded streams before but that was back in the days of yore when corona was just a brand of beer and streams didn’t need to cost money to pay artists, so I’m a bit conflicted.
I was at the premiere of A Song Called Hate tonight! This is a new English-language documentary film primarily about Hatari’s Eurovision journey. There’s a lot of delightful new footage that you all are going to love, lots more insight into the emotional journey of the Eurovision trip, their experiences in Israel and Palestine, and the soundtrack by Margrét Rán (from Vök) was fantastic - the film built a beautiful sense of tension out of events that we all already know about. For any Hatari fan it should be a treat.
Finally! After a year and a half of faffing about, it’s done Digitally painted from scratch, based on “Ógleði/Nausea” by Hatari. Long story short, this is my tribute to the struggle that was overcoming confusion and self loathing with my identity/orientation, and becoming the badass woman and proud demisexual I was always supposed to be

Time for the yearly top nine round up. So apparently this is what you folks liked the most! There’s two of me in here so that’s kinda flattering Mostly older or unfinished art though. It lines up pretty well with how this year has gone for me tbh. It was a year that annihilated my motivation, forced me to go back to therapy, and took friends and family members through covid. It’s still dealing blows to my family this week right at the end of the year! Bottom line, 2020 has been a hell of a struggle. But on the plus side, it helped me appreciate the importance of connecting and disconnecting, with friends and the internet respectively. It was the year I really discovered who I am and what I want, and the confidence in myself that follows I put myself in situations I’d never been in and made some awesome friends/acquaintances along the way. And most amazingly of all, didn’t lose any friends once they really knew what had been going on inside my head. 2020 has really proven to me that I’m blessed with genuinely good, patient people in my life so I’m not gonna apologise for lack of new content this year, some things are just more important than work. Next year however, I already have a few plans we’ll see. I hope everyone reading this has a safe new year, and hopefully we can make 2021 a bit less shitty somehow and I thank you deeply for your support
