Woke up this morning with so much thought. It’s like the universe is like wake up, you are an herbalist, you gotta start on your journey. I can’t sleep now because I’m getting too many instructions. They say 4 am is when you receive the most prana, so I guess this makes sense.
Like trees and flowers, plants symbolize death and resurrection; the life-force; the cycle of life.

Plants or flowers which grow from the spilled blood of a god or hero represent the mystic union between man and plant and the birth of life from death, life flowing from one state to another, e.g. violets grew from the blood of Attis; wheat and herbs grew from the body of Osiris; and pomegranate from the blood of Dionysus, anemones from the blood of Adonis and red roses from the blood of Christ.
In Chinese symbolism the plant Polyporus lucidus is the plant of immortality and is the food of the Taoist genii or immortals.

1 part Passionflower
2 part Peppermint

A note on this: recipe is much more effective if the white willow bark is boiled for 10minutes(a decotion) to pull as much medicinal qualities out of it as possible.
Today someone at work asked me what essential oils would be good for self-dedication, and I thought they said self-medication.
Of course my initial response was PURE PANIC of “You should NEVER ingest essential oils” and it took my coworker to repeat them saying self-dedication for me to stop going on a rant on how harmful essential oils are.
