15 Days of FatT Day 8 - Integrity demands Intimacy
What we believe is true about ourselves is what we are capable of offering to others.
Nothing more.
Nothing less.
You cannot give what you don’t have.
The day you realise this is the day you’ll see the fears and weaknesses that drives others to behave badly towards you.
It was never about you.
It’s always about reflecting who they are.
If you lack self respect, it will be difficult to respect others.
If you don’t appreciate what you have, you won’t express gratitude towards others.
If you are dishonest with yourself about who you truly are, you’ll struggle to trust the sincerity of others.
And so it continues.
The way we see ourselves is what informs our behaviour and interactions with the world.
The more threatened we feel, the more aggressive we will be.
The next time you see someone behaving badly, don’t judge them harshly, understand what they’re saying about how they value themselves, or how valued they feel by you.
Then, respond to their underlying vulnerability in a reassuring way, rather than always reacting to their bad behaviour.
Break the cycle.

Honesty. It’s the hottest quality a person can have. I can’t love you if I can’t trust you. I can’t want you if I can’t trust you. I can’t give you moments of the precious little time I spend in this life…..if I can’t trust you. Being naughty doesn’t mean disloyal. I have no secrets, but many turn ons.

There is a nasty little four letter word that seems to be polluting our conversations nowadays. It’s one of the most uneducated and vile words that penetrates almost every conversation.
so be prepared for a bunch of posts about him. I love his voice. I think he’s got incredible integrity. And well… being a 6'6" cowboy he’s definitely got my attention. ;)

I am so grateful to kind friends and spirits like Brandie who have made the choice to choose ethical and conscious adornment. I created the Mni Wiconi “Water is sacred” jewel to help aid the Standing Rock Sioux nation in their preservation of ancestral land and clean water for all people, plants and animals living in the Dakota regions. The big oil industry has since destroyed ceremonial and burial sites of the Sioux over this past weekend, and also used attack dogs and mace against the peaceful protectors including women and children.
Injustice I am saddened to say happens daily in this world and to many people. Change happens when understanding, an open heart, integrity and compassion leads our choices and decisions instead of greed and selfishness. All too often in this world people are motivated to take thoughtlessly from others, without considering the repercussions of their actions. If we would all take a moment to pause and consider not only the words that we speak, (but also type and share) and our inner motivations. I truly believe this planet would be a kinder place.
I give thanks to my wonderful friends here who have helped to donate to the Standing Rock Sioux tribe, as we wait for a deliberation on the 9th, I am preparing and have more jeweled creations to offer to help aid the people. (recipe to joy): By entering into a loving relation to with the self, we delight the self, and the self’s delight passes through us as a pleasure we can feel and enjoy and even scatter.
Integrity balances and restores and steers us out of difficulty and reminds us that things are not as they should be.
anxiety is alienation from the self. you are afraid others won’t like you, so you act as somebody else which cause stress.
