When we were planning our trip to Taiwan, I was considering of not including SHIFEN in our itinerary. But, it was on our way to Juifen so We decided to stopped by.

It was a nice little town and our private driver took us to a restaurant that served delicious Xia Long Bao (which is on my IG highlights) and this bridge.

There was a lot of people so we decided not to get a wide shot. This was still a nice snap though

What are your long and short term travel plans?

Long term: travel to all 47 prefectures in Japan, visit Prague and other European countries.

Short term: Travel at least twice or 3 times in a month.

This cherry blossom festival is held in Shizumine Furusato Park, located in Ibaraki, Japan. This park has around 200 Yoshino trees that starts to blossom around early April, while its 2,000 “doubled-flower cherry trees” stunningly unfolds in late April to May.
.
Hence, if you haven’t gone to a cherry blossom festival, you could still catch it in Ibaraki! Plus, Shizumine Furusato Park is included in Japan’s Top 100 Cherry Blossom Spots!

Before, I used a selfie-stick, timer, or just do selfie. I’m too shy to ask strangers to take shots of me >_<

Do you like visiting a place more than once?

This is actually the second time I’ve celebrated my Cherry Blossom Viewing (or Hanami) in Shingashi River. The first one, I didn’t really care much about taking photos. I was lazy. Hence, when I came back this year I took my fujifilm with me and took a lot of photos.

For those who are not full-time travelers, how much do you travel in a month?

For domestic travels, at least twice or once a month.

However, because of our budget, we decided not to travel. But, last week we were able to go to Ibaraki prefecture! I was pretty excited because it’ll be the 27th prefecture I’ve visited!!! 20 more to go!!! Japan has 47.

It was nice to walk around and just feel the fresh air!

For me it’s coming here to Japan.

Maybe for some it’s easy but for Filipinos it’s bit challenging. We need a visa to come here and acquiring it can be very stressful. However, these days it’s easier compared before. Many Filipinos travel now because airfare is more affordable.

But, there are still some cases that even though they got a LEGIT visa, they can still “offload” you!

How do you take pictures during winter?

Despite having a terrible weather, I was able to capture this wonderful moment.
.
It was definitely difficult to get a picture while it was raining and freezing (it was taken in February). I don’t feel comfortable taking pictures while wearing gloves, I usually take them off.

During this time, my hands were beginning to be as cold as ice and I was getting frustrated because I couldn’t get a decent photo, but then I shot this! I got so pumped and gave me confidence! I kept taking photos
