A note from Lucy: so while this isn’t a “IM BACK FROM THE DEAD PEOPLE LISTEN UP BECAUSE BOY DO I HAVE A LOT OF STORIES TO TELL”, it’s much more rather “a peace offering from the writing gods”. However, that’s not to say I don’t have more on the way. On currently writing for another fandom at the moment. I’ve got an outer banks fanfiction out called Transient that is love for you all to read. It’s over on my AO3 and the account is called mild_kleptomaniac. That it for now. Hopefully, I’ll have a few more updates sooner rather than later. But I can’t promise much as I’m eating to finish Transient fist. Love you all so much! Humans have a very silly habit of diluting feelings into words. Apparently, it makes it easier to digest. This habit of ours is so easy to slip into that we never recognise spin it ourselves.I believe it is completely ridiculous because feelings aren’t meant to be easy. It’s how we determine what is worth our time and if we want to continue living in those feelings. It’s based on a gut feeling.

GUYS! First of all I want to tell you how guilty I feel. Your support is freaking amazing and I didn’t post anything the last few months. I’m really sorry!! You need to know that this year I have big exams and I hopefully will finish my school and receive my graduation..

So when you’re sent to the marketing dept, you don’t think twice but your friends are afraid she’d chew you up
Your only concern however is that you’d get distracted as you find her GORGEOUS
Work goes surprisingly good though
She’s an absolute slave driver but she values your opinions which is quite rare
The only actual interactions you have with her are when you get her coffee though
Often times you end up staring at her for longer than acceptable
Once that led to you spilling coffee on your hand and all over her desk
You thought you were done for but she just waved it off
You worked overtime cause you felt guilty
You slept at your desk and woke up to see your hand wrapped in bandages
There was only person who could have done it but it seemed improbable
It definitely deepened your crush though
Your posting at the marketing department comes to an end and you’re a lil sad to leave
You meet her at her desk and she extends her hand to meet yours and you automatically freeze
Dami looks into your eyes, that fierce gaze of hers

All she could think of when you got her coffee was if only you would get coffee for two
And the both of you could be next to each other in comfortable silence like you’d always been
She definitely got scared of whether she’d be rejected for the first time
But the fear of never having tried was stronger
Thus she threw in her shot
“So…now that you don’t work under me, how about I get you that coffee? I promise I won’t spill” Sealing it with a wink
“I don’t know… ” You started and Dami thought she had finally tasted how rejection feels like
“I don’t know about coffee cause you tend to overdose, but we could get something refreshing to drink, and maybe go outside, like on a picnic cause you’re cooped inside for too long”
You do not know where the confidence came from but perhaps you too didn’t want to miss out on the chance
Dami’s grip on your hand loosened and now it was your time to get an anxiety attack
