Concept art clipsof Varian & Andrew:Prison Scene (Tangled PMV 2020)
(One of my favorite scenes I had to work with. In the draft stage, I had originally debated making Varian more spiteful or full of regret in prison. In the end, I liked the build-up better. Andrew was always going to be manipulative with his…proportion.)
So amazing to be on board with such a talented cast list of artists in creating a tribute to the Disney Tangled fandom. Big special THANKS to @silverhart-makes-art for allowing me the use of their fantastic Dark Kingdom depiction, and @sheerakk for all the encouragement given throughout the whole production :)
I finally decided to make concrete reference sheets for how I colour the Daycare Attendant, plus a concept for my design for ‘Eclipse’, or at least the glitch thingy in that BB arcade game.
Because I’m stubborn and got attached to them they’re two separate beings in my au. They both run the daycare
Sunrise (she/her) is the more energetic of the twins. She gets along well with the higher energy kids. Encouraging them to move around and play safe!
Moondrop (he/him) is more quiet and lower energy, he gets along well with the more quiet and shy kids. Helping settle kids down for nap time or reads to small groups.
Honestly mentally speaking they’re like kids themselves, all be it older kids (I guess around 14 ish) who’d you’d be fine with babysitting the younger kids but still have an adult on call for emergencies
Also sunrise gets an energy boost when lights are on while moondrop gets an energy boost when the lights are off
