This Qur’an belongs to a small group of similar Qur’ans all of which were copied in Southern Spain. They are all fairly small, this being one of the larger of the group, and are similar in layout and illumination. All are square, and written in a small neat script which has been described as the Valencian script. Nine of the group have colophons, of which six were copied in Valencia. They have an opening page or pages of illumination, which here is sadly lacking. The sura headings are in gold kufic with illuminated palmettes and the text is written on rather white parchment with tightly spaced lines of around 21-28 lines to the page. […]
Spanish Qur’ans are few in number compared to North African Qur’ans as many were deliberately destroyed by the Christian conquerors of Spain. None exists in Spain itself with but few remaining in libraries in North Africa and the East, poignant reminders of Spain’s glorious Islamic heritage.

“Dawn Rising” A real fun piece to do and I learned a lot from it. I was exploring a technique called Sfumato developed by Leonardo da Vinci. I didn’t quite nail it but I still want to pursue it more.

This decorated end page can be found in Plans, elevations, sections, and details of the Alhambrav.2, an influential work created from drawing by Jules Goury and Owen Jones. Owen Jones published the work in 1842, about a decade after he began his Grand Tour, where he met Jules Goury. Goury would become his traveling companion for the latter part of Jones’s Grand Tour, though Goury died of cholera six months into their stay in Granada*, Spain. Their visit to the former palace of 13th and 14th century Moorish leaders, the Alhambra, must have left a lasting impression—Jones was an instrumental figure in the move away from Neo-classicism and his body of work betrays a strong Islamic design influence. Sometimes fusion combinations don’t work but that’s not the case here - it seems like the taste of flan and the subtle taste of saffron are meant to be together. Reminiscent of the south of Spain with the Moorish influences - it’s as exotic a combination as you can get!

The races in Game of Thrones can be compared to different people on all continents on certain levels..But certain aspects like the knights would obviously only come from europe..The idea of houses are pretty much just different forms of tribal clans.. Giants being giants in our world & the children of the forest representing the original people in one way moreso in an autochthonous aspects Mix in with the Yakub concept[check out Human Articfial by Bobby].. At first I would have thought the Wildlings represented what they called barbaric European tribes but I began to remember not every wildling tribe acted the same & Since as they put it were the original people who were divided by an Ice border [state lines in our world] I thought they moreso resembled tribal people who had been removed from their territories.. to back that up is how certain Europeans would refer to us as Savages or similar names..

Found out some neat information to go with the above.. Found out the Bermuda islands were called Somer Islands in real life. This lead me to remember that in Game of Thrones there are a group of Isles called the Summer Islands. Besides having similar names both have a a black/dark skinned population. One final coincidence they share is there proximity to *Areas of Disaster*.. In our real world Somer Islands are one of the tips for the legendary Bermuda Triangle.. In game of Thrones the summer isles are right next door to the mysterious continent Sothoryos.. Sothoryos even being considered an analog for Africa in the games of thrones world makes it even more eerie.. This due old maps of Africa being found to have mysterious creatures on them and sothoryos being known to have many odd creatures on the continent
The first two pics are repost showing Odin connection with black people in some way. The 2nd pic moreso shows Odin blue clothing actually represented his blue skin. It depicts a person riding a horse like animal with 8 legs. Being someone who constantly shows & proves they took current mythology from ancient black culture & simply whitewashed it. So I would immediately recognize another horse in mythology called Sleipnir owned by Odin himself. From reading a book called The Return of the Serpents Of Wisdom among other books i knew Odin was a derivative of Votan/Wotan…A figure who is revered among many different cultures. I often show that Indigenous populations had deities similar to odin,thor,Zeus & others already present in their spiritual system. The book above States how King Votan would send certain groups from Atlantis [before it sank] to different parts of the world. One of these groups would go on to be the Tuareg . The Tuarag & these cave paintings above both have roots in Algeria. The paintings as seen obviously show black people. Recently I found out about the concept of the Odic force which derives from the god odin..It basically is another name for chi,ki,serpent energy,mana etc..Whats interesting is that the odin force from marvel basically describes what the Odic force is..
