The last hike of 2018. I took Andreas to Mt. Hood and to my favorite trail since he didn’t get to see it the last time he visited. It was beautiful, sunny and wonderfully crisp mountain air.

Mt Hood Wild Flowers
The view on paradise trail on Mt. Hood was more beautiful than this picture shows. Nonetheless, the wildflowers found in late summer near Timberline Lodge are still breathtaking. What do you think?Post link
The Beautiful Paradise Trail
- This trails starts off nearby Timberline Lodge on Mt. Hood in Oregon. Paradise Park Trail is a 12.1 mile loop that rated at difficult and has a 2300ft elevation gain. I was nearly dead at the end…but it had the most insanely beautiful wildflowers, waterfalls, and sweeping landscape views ever. Plus I found out you could camp here and do the full 40 miles loop around the mountain. This day was awesome.Post link

Topped out on Mt. Hood yesterday via the Pearly Gates. Probably my favorite climb so far. I love this mountain.
