This was supposed to be a quick little sketch … But it wasn't.
We finally got to see X Men costumes in Apocalypse… Even though the film was nowhere near as good as it could have been or as DoFP. Oscar Isaac was wasted … he himself was so excited to be playing Apocalypse. I hope we get to see him again, in a better film with more to do. Plus you know CGI him a bit, his height and weight. Also make him grey.
But we are getting Cable Finally!!!! Doubt they will include the whole Goblin Queen back story… too complicated and confusing… Maybe. But cant wait to see what they will do with him in film. He looks badass and is sort of what I wanted. I like how they differentiated his arm from Winter Solider and Colossus. Since they basically have the same metal arm design in the comics.
But it looks more prosthetic than techno organic Virus. But lets see what they are doing.

Scenes like this, of the hero captured by the antagonist, are so common in the superhero genre that I don’t think we even see the kinky/S&M subtext anymore.
All the younger Avengers (and Deadpool) were complaining about not having Internet access on missions and after Wade threw a hissy fit about not being able to send out a Tweet, Cable made his techno-organic arm into a permanent wifi hot spot. The only problem for him is everyone overcrowding him, even villains.
Nathan Christopher Summers was born into a battle. And his life was a war. All the time I knew him, he grabbed sleep in ten-minute stretches. Ate with his back to a wall. Never sat still long enough to make an easy target. You know what I mean. All of you know what I mean. He was a soldier. To the last ounce and inch of him, Cable was a soldier. And there are three blessings a soldier prays for. To fight for things that matter — things that are real. To find comrades who he loves and trusts, to fight alongside him. And to die on his feet. My dad got three for three. So don’t cry for him. N-nobody. Nobody needs to cry for Nathan Summers.
