Young Women and Nudism

It is surprising to us at Nature’s Hideaway Nudist Resort how many apparently young women are writing or calling us with a strong interest in and many questions about nudism. Of course we get questions from men as well, but there seems to be an increased interest coming from young women. Some young women tell us stories about their first experiences with being seen nude or being caught nude by accident, and some tell us of their first experience with mixed nudity. Many times women express a strong interest in nudism, but repeat the some old anxieties with regard to their bodies and how they appear in the nude, and how society in general reacts to nudity. And we hear concerns and questions regarding how nudism and sex are related to family friendly nudism. We’ve heard funny stories from women telling us how they might drive while nude, or other stories of doing other unexpected things while they are nude. One young lady told of how she decided at a very young age that she was happier and much more comfortable in the nude; and how she argued with her parents because she never wore clothes at home. She said that at that time she had never heard about a nudist, so she had no idea that she might be one. She said that she never felt any shyness about being nude, even during those awkward teenage years. She told of how she became a high school beauty queen, but that her title was taken away when her school learned of her love for always being nude at home. Many other stories from women expressed their feelings about how women feel about their safety, and that they would feel better about going topless or nude if they could feel safe while doing so.

But are women interested in nudism? You bet they are!!! Read Kindi Stone’s stories (above), and learn that at 10-YO she knew she hated wearing clothes, but she didn’t know that there are other people just like her who prefer to be nude all of the time, and that these people are typically referred to as being nudists.

There is a new movement by some women’s groups in America to establish the right for women to go topless anywhere or any time it is allowed for men. Already states like New York and cities such as San Francisco have legalized women being topless (NY) or being totally nude (SF). For the life of us, we cannot understand a society that has defined women’s breasts as being obscene, even while doing one of the most natural things a woman can do…breast feed her child.

In a world where many taboos and stigmas are being struck down, however,  we are seeing evidence that young people, and especially younger women, are becoming more interested in the right to be comfortable and to be nude. It seems that a few people have adopted the idea that the human body is shameful, and they have imposed their shame-beliefs upon the rest of society. But young people are learning that it is natural, fun and emotionally and physically healthy to be nude, and that if there is shame associated with being nude, it is only in a shameful mind. Our Maker did not impose shame on humans regarding their bodies, only humans did that. We believe that young people including young women are rightfully pushing back with their desire to have the right to be topless or nude. Can one be a moral person and be a nudist? Yes of course. In fact, many family-friendly nudist organizations are demanding only proper moral behavior from their nudist patrons.

Young people can change the world if they have the courage and take the actions necessary to make their desires a reality. Remember, being nude is natural, fun and emotionally and physically healthy. Practice nudism for thirty days (whenever possible) and you will have given yourself a gift that will bring joy and pleasure to you and those around you for the rest of your life.
