These posters were done in a hurry, mostly single colour screen prints, and depict the political tensions in France at the time. Starting out as student strikes in Paris, the May 1968 protests quickly spread. De Gaulle was so worried about a new revolution he fled to Germany. Images from my collection.
Before i post stills of the finished prints, here is a little behind the scenes of a screenprinted illustration i worked on back in september ♫ It was fun playing around with neon ink and shimmery paper, it makes quite an eye-catchy visual !

Now it’s announced! This summer I produced textile (screen print & hand embroidery) map for Art at the Heart of the Royal United Hospital Bath.
RUH is exhibiting many artworks (paintings, prints, sculptures, photographs, textiles … any sort of) in its corridors and courtyards, and the map indicates where you can find them.
The map itself is exhibited in the main corridor / gallery space and free paper copies printed with detailed information (graphic design by Mao Takata) are available for anyone: patients, staff and visitors. Anyone can visit the galleries and look around the artworks - I hope you enjoy exploring with the treasure map!
