i was tagged by the amazing @hersilentlanguage!! the last line i’ve written is from a last life fic i started when i was ill but it gave me a headache so i gave up
i genuinely don’t know how to explain last life to you if you haven’t watched it but basically ren is a knight and his queen has just been killed, so he’s temporarily allied with another group of people who he is wary of. in this fic he’s trying to go to sleep in their base, lying against a barrel of hay.
There are monsters, and there are worse than monsters. People he once knew, disfigured by loneliness and heartache and panic and grief and love and loss and fear. And today was a bloodbath. Today was the start, Ren thinks. Something has shifted. There are bodies that have no graves; alliances strung thin and ravaged. The world is ending just outside and Ren is lying within devastation’s jaws, head against something that serves no purpose but to fill up space. To make the room seem less empty. Hay cannot be fed to cows that don’t exist. Ren keeps promises he no longer has to keep.

You could absolutely bribe me with my favourite foods and desserts. They rotate in phases, but my current cravings is this one oreo-peppermint milkshake from a restaurant I used to frequent, and tacos (which unfortunately aren’t commonly sold around where I live )
I have partial heterochromia in my left eye! It’s just a bit of gold/yellow on brown so people rarely notice it. You’d have to be standing really near to see it, or if we’re outside and it’s bright enough that the color catches
Back when I was younger I really liked reading about animals! Kid-me would write notes on wildlife and physical geography, and I liked to draw maps as well
My handwriting… it’s the kind that looks messy from afar but isn’t that hard to read once you actually look at it though I never had the patience to try and make it neater, since my teachers never complained about it
Okay back to animals… at one point in my life we had 6 dogs it was chaotic sometimes, but that’s part of the fun too since they were all mostly well-behaved and not too energetic!
We’re having anime-game related events in my country so I’m looking forward to buying merch from them! One is actually Hoyofest so food will be part of it too
