#thriller
The setting of the novel I’m currently working on: Abaron Hall. Set during the last few days of September in 1899, Ophelia Allred and eleven others are invited by the enigmatic recluse, Lord Alvin Fane to his home for a special competition. But with strange visions, ruthless co-contenders, and rumors of spirits walking the halls at night, it’s clear that there is something far more sinister at hand
Me: I love all my characters equally

A stunning #OwnVoices debut representing Anishinaabe (Ojibwe) culture in a hook-you-from-the-start thriller. Teenage Daunis Fontaine gets roped into an FBI investigation of a meth ring in her small hockey-obsessed town near the Canadian border. Her knowledge of the Anishinaabe community, the hockey world, and medicinal plants make her the perfect informant, but digging too deep will put her in…
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
I’m sorry, WHAT?! What the heck am I supposed to do with that?!
This book was a ride I was not expecting to take. I expected some fluff with a good dose of drama, but what I got was an episode of Catfish…if Catfish was in the thriller genre.
Geiger had me second-guessing what I thought I knew throughout the book and I have absolutely no choice but to pick up the sequel, if I can survive the wait.
I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review from NetGalley.

It’s another one of those movies about a mentally unstable and obsessive teen going apeshit for the older man. Fans of Lolita also tend to be into this movie as well. It’s just…I don’t know… unnecessary, right? They do kiss and I find that creepy af as he’s a grown ass man and she’s 14. Uhmmm
No thanks.
This is a 1995 comedy/horror movie that is kind of entertaining.
This dude just loves blending kids into his ice cream. I mean ♀️ He is mentally ill and they dive into that for a minute. However, it IS one of those movies that portrays mentally ill people poorly.
I’d watch it again though. If I were high.
what y’all watching on Netflix?? share the love
