My gorgeous boyfriend is raising money for him to get top surgery as he has been waiting on the NHS waiting list for over 2 ½ years now. He is told it could be 3 years before he actually gets surgery but with going private it can be as little as four weeks waiting. Although, it is £6000. It would be greatly appreciated if you could donate something so he can start living his life. If you can’t donate, no worries, just sharing this would be great! Thank you so much ❤️

Dr Narendra Kaushik of New Dehli plans transplant the organs of a deceased donor or from a trans man to a transgender women in the hopes of them being able to carry a child.

There have been several successful uterus transplants so far, but those have been between two cis women.

Dr. Narendra Kaushik is a plastic, cosmetic and reconstructive surgeon who has 15 years of experience working with transgender patients.

Kaushik says:

“This is the future. We cannot predict exactly when this will happen but it will happen very soon.We have our plans and we are very very optimistic about this.“

Mirror writes:

There has only been one well-known case of a trans woman having a uterus transplant - but she died just months later after suffering complications.

It cannot actually connect the woman’s uterus to the fallopian tubes, so the op doesn’t lead to anyone becoming pregnant naturally.

But experts claim it is theoretically possible to impregnate a trans woman using IVF, with the embryo being implanted.

A paper published in the International Journal of Transgender Health, Loren Schechter and her colleagues presents a proof of concept for transgender recipients.

Hey guys, so its been a long time coming but I’m finally on the journey for top surgery.

I don’t know the exact cost yet but I know it’s between 8k and 15k, which is a really big gap.

Whilst I could easily save this much up - I have bills, rent and meds to pay for, I also need to pay to eat, which is absolute bull (jk)

anyway, the point of this post is that I started a gofundme for my top surgery. I don’t want to pressure anyone to donate, but if y'all could share this around that’d be nice?

I don’t expect to meet my goal of 5k, but even 1k would help tbh. it’s a lot of money, I know, and if you donate feel free to message me and I will send you a picture of my pets as a thankyou.
