Vegans who preach about not eating honey because oh no, the poor bees but then turn around and keep chugging their almond milk drinks make me slightly furious.

Some right-wing imbecile jumped on my photography Instagram page to call me a bigot for being anti-hunting. I began to type out, “Sure, and murder laws are bigoted towards murderers,” but instead I just erased it and blocked him, because if I’ve learned anything from the Trump era, it’s that these assholes all go to the same troll school and the goal is simply to waste our valuable time and emotional energy. There are no teachable moments for the unteachable.

The indigenous hunt for food and clothing which is understandable and something I support. We don’t have the right to impose our moral compass on them. The truly damaging hunting, the killing of endangered creatures to extinction for sport, is almost always done by colonizers and is absolutely a byproduct of the colonial system. I love how people just make moronic pronouncements about things they know nothing about.

Honor your cravings
The only difference between these cookies and your standard run of the mill cookie is I used 2 tbsp ground chia seeds mixed with 6 tbsp water as a binding agent instead of eggs and if you want to be healthier you can substitute regular flour with oat flour (I just blend up oats in a nutribullet)

INGREDIENTS
Dry Ingredients
1 ½ cups gluten free oat flour
½ cup gluten free rolled oats
½ teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon baking powder
¼ teaspoon salt

Wet Ingredients
¼ cup + 2 tablespoons melted coconut oil (or any other vegetable oil)
¼ cup coconut/brown sugar
¼ cup pure maple syrup
2 chia eggs (2 tablespoons ground flax + 6 tablespoons water, whisked together, set for 15 minutes)
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Add-in Ingredients
1 cup vegan chocolate chips
Mix ingredients (in the order listed) in a large bowl and bake at 175 C for 8-12 minutes :)

You guys, being vegan is seriously my jam I know the meat eaters out there do not get it, and I understand.
I used to think that a vegan diet was the most restrictive diet in the world. I never thought I would EVER be vegan. But OMG it is amazing!
Here I thought I’d be restricting myself, when in reality an entire new world of food that I never even knew about was opened up to me! It’s life-changing, its life-giving!
And the reason all of us are always harping on it so much is because the food is actually incredibly delicious!
To my meat eating friends, I challenge you to go meatless for a week and see how you feel. To my vegetarian friends, I challenge you to go vegan for a week!

I remember Cheese! Lol. I remember feeling like a slave to cheesy goodness. But once you give it up you stop thinking about it. That’s the honest truth…And the vegan cheeses on the market these days are almost indistinguishable from the real thing.
You don’t have to give up anything, except maybe convenience, which is changing every day with the new fast food chains offering vegan options all the time now.
The time to try vegan is here!

Porridge with banana, strawberries, cashew butter and dark chocolate ❤️


Ingredients:

- 50g rolled oats

- 200ml oat milk

- 1 tbsp Erythrit

- a few flave drops

Raspberry banana smoothie bowl with chia seeds


Ingredients:

- 2 bananas

- handful of raspberries

- 1 tbsp chia seeds

- 50ml orange juice

- 100ml oat milk

Fluffy pancakes with raspberries, chocolate spread and maple syrup


Recipe (5-6 pancakes):

- 80g wheat flour

- 2 tbsp Erythrit

- 2 tsp baking powder

- pinch of salt

- 120g plantbased milk

➡️ In a bowl, combine all ingredients with a whisk, but don’t overmix. Set aside for 5 minutes.

In the meantime heat a pan over medium heat and grease with a bit of coconut oil.

When hot, pour in about 2 tbsp of batter for each pancake. Flip over once the surface gets bubbly and let cook for 1 more minute.

Sweet potato brownies


Recipe:

- 330g sweet potato puree

- 2 ripe bananas (mashed)

- 100g oat flour

- 50g almond flour

- 4 tbsp cacao powder

- 100g apple sauce

- 1 tbsp coconut oil

- 50g date syrup (or maple syrup)

- 1,5 tsp baking powder

- pinch of salt


➡️ To make the sweet potato puree, peel and cut 1 sweet potato into chunks. Cook them in water for 20 minutes. Rinse and let cool. Place them in a blender or food processor and blend until smooth.

Preheat oven to 180°C upper/lower heat.

Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Grease a baking dish (21 x 21cm) with oil (I used coconut oil), pour in the batter, and spread into an even layer using a spatula.

Bake for 40 minutes.

Gingerbread porridge with coconut whipped cream, speculoos spread and pear


Ingredients:

- 200ml oat milk

- 50g rolled oats

- 1 tbsp cocoa powder

- 1 tsp gingerbread spice

- 1 mashed banana

Pumpkin apple pancakes with maple syrup and cinnamon


Recipe (8 pancakes) :

- 100g hokkaido pumpkin

- 75g spelt flour

- 1 tsp baking powder

- 1 tbsp maple syrup

- 1 tsp vanilla paste (optional)

- 75ml oat milk

- 50ml sparkling mineral water

- 1 big apple


Cut pumpkin into pieces and cook for 10 minutes. Drain and let cool a bit.

Meanwhile combine flour and baking powder in a bowl.

Purée the pumpkin together with maple syrup and vanilla paste and add it to the flour. Add oat milk and water and whisk until smooth.

Cut apple into slices and remove the core.

Heat some coconut oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add 2 tablespoon portions of the batter to the pan and put 1 apple slice onto each pancake, press down a little. Cook for 1 minute on each side.

-Get a can of sweetened condensed coconut milk
-boil a pot of water
-place can in water, making sure it’s covered by at least an inch of water
-reduce to a simmer
-half way thru (1:15) use tongs to flip container over
- make sure that at least an inch of water is covering the can thruout cooking!
-let it COOL DO NOT OPEN THE CAN WHEN ITS HOT it will probably explode #science
