Wenlock Priory Ruins,Much Wenlock,Shropshire. There are more things in heaven and earth and Shropshire than dreamt of in your philosophy. Besides this gorgeous ruin of a priory, there are many Early English style buildings and a fabulous GuildhallinMuch Wenlock, which is situated on the A458 between Shrewsbury and Bridgnorth.
Dr William Penny Brooks set up the Shropshire Games and carried on to become a founding father of the modern Olympian games. The London 2012 Summer Olympics mascot,Wenlock, is named after this town. (Paul McClure DC on flickr)
