Day 2 is a Pumpkin Spice whale shark to fit the halloween season! This was another suggestion for what to draw on the first inktober day, but the family portrait took precedence :P. Had to at least use this idea for the second day! It’s too cute!
This makes me think though, should I make seasonal whale shark merch? Is that something people would want? :O

I’ve made whale shark and stars washi tape, an acrylic charm, and now I’m excited to announce that I’ve made a sticker sheet! I was blown away with the response I got from my first batch as well as on my Instagram so here are even more exploration of Biology-infuenced Merfolk, AKA even more of Kara’s neighbors.

Most merfolk clothing are based off of the creatures of the sea and some amphibious critters, from fishes to crocodiles and mammals (like the Elephant seal jacket of the lionfish!)
Woven kelp are another major clothing materials, with clams, pearls and mussels act as jewelry. Sometimes whole critters are used as both fashion and pets! Sharks likewise don’t need braces, so Mrs. Frilled Shark simply thought they were fashionable!
Hey everyone!! This is why I havent been very active on my tumblr the past few months, I’ve been working in a team with 11 students to create this game! I did all the environment rocks that you see. We’re Developing a game where you play as sharks and compete locally aginst your friends to eat the most fish! All sharks have unique abilities that can be used to eat fish and mess with other players.
