MIDSUMMER’S EVE PRAYER ~ With open arms I embrace warmth and light, May the magick of Litha shine bright tonight. With fairies dancing and magick abound, I see the Summer Solstice all around. On this Litha eve, as twilight glows, I welcome transition, of which my soul knows. I release all ego, to sun, moon and earth, My spirit rejuvenated, by nature’s hearth.
TO BIND- wrap in black thread, drip wax over, or seal in a jar and hide it in the dark.
TO BANISH- burn an effect to ash and sweep off the back door step, cast it out a window, or bury in the ground and spit on it
TO ENCOURAGE- plant it by the front door/steps, bury by a window, or place it on a windowsill
TO HIDE- place in a jar painted black, cover with cloth and bury, or wrap with a ribbon
TO CLEANSE- bury it in a bowl of salt, burn herbs and pass through the smoke, or lay it in a moonwater bath
TO GLAMOUR- leave under the full moon, hold its reflection over a mirror with herbs, or
TO WISH- place before a candle and blow it out, drown a coin in water, or let seeds blow into the wind
TO COMMUNICATE- (with a spirit or deity) - anoint a candle, leave out offerings, or open the front doors and windows
TO WARD- leave part of the spell in four corners, draw lines around the protected area, or plant an object of projection in the north, east, south, and west edges
TO CURSE- spit on it, drag your nails down it, or stick sharp things in it
TO DISCOURAGE - plant or bury by the back door, or burn to ash
TO JINX- say it three times out loud, or say a word the same time as someone else
TO MANIPULATE - use wax, use poppets, or tie several strings to pieces of an effect
TO BENEFIT - light a candle, charge a crystal, or create a talisman
White, green, oolong, and black tea all come from the same plant (camellia sinensis) but are separated by how oxidized they are.
A lot of ‘tea correspondence’ lists make associations based on the *color* of the tea, rather than by the oxidation cycle. Correspondences are quite personal, of course, but as somewhat who quite likes tea I think there can be deeper meaning beyond the color.
I associate the four types of teas and other four step cycles: ages, time of day, elements, seasons. I’ve also included the health benefits of each type of tea.
Green Tea: Childhood • Morning • Earth • Spring. All tea starts out green. Green tea is not oxidized. Nature, health and growth. Interferes with the growth of cancers; prevents clogging of the arteries, burn fat, counteracts oxidative stress on the brain, reduces risk of neurological disorders, reduces risk of stroke, and improves cholesterol levels.
White Tea: Youth • Afternoon • Air • Summer. White tea is 1-10% oxidized. Cleanliness, purity and simplicity. The most potent anticancer properties compared to more processed teas. Good for skin.
Oolong Tea: Maturity • Evening • Water • Autumn. Oolong tea is 10-85% oxidized. Stability, balance, and variety. Lowers cholesterol levels.
Black Tea: Old Age • Night • Fire • Winter. Red tea (known as black tea in the west) is 100% oxidized. Rationality, formality, and energy. Protects lungs from damage caused by exposure to cigarette smoke, reduces the risk of stroke.

Celestial witches get most of their energies from cosmic and celestial bodies. AKA anything outer space, really :) They’re one of my favorite witches (all witches are my favorite lol) so of course I had to do a masterlist (I had to do it to ‘em).

An idea for witches and hellenic/nonhellenic polytheists/monotheists, make a sigil that represents your god/goddess/deity’s name. For non witchy mono/polytheists, use all the letters in your deity’s name to create a symbol, and draw that symbol on things you wish to dedicate to your deity.
