Is my soul crushed that Guillermo was ripped away from Nandor and Nandor has to live on as if he was left at the altar, probably to succumb to more depressive thoughts and an unhealthy lifestyle?

Yes.

But am I also excited to see Nadja and Guillermo finally bond after it felt like their relationship was the most clear cut “I am superior you are inferior and we are not friends”, and have Nadja SOFTEN and TRUST Guillermo more? Becoming bffs??? Badass adventures where they kick ass ahoy? GUILLERMO POSSIBLY FINALLY ADMITTING TO SOMEONE OUTLOUD HIA FEELINGS FOR NANDOR AND NADJA FINDING IT YUCKY AT FIRST BUT TRYING TO BE SUPPORTIVE AND ONCE THE NANDERMO REUNION HAPPENS, BEING THE ONE YELLING AT NANDOR TO KISS GUILLERMO?

yes pls

You are so right <3

We know Guillermo is a vampire hunter, sure. But I think that means he is also pretty good at hunting non-traditional vampires— like energy vampires, right?
The Collins promotion episode kind of shows that off!
When Nandor and Laszlo told Guillermo to walk away and save himself, he stumbled towards Collin to get past him— thus splitting him up twice, and ending up in the three Collin’s “demise”

I’m very tempted, for the first time in like 7 years, to write fanfiction for what we do in the shadows.
I’m succumbing to it’s… Dark Powers….

Very, VERY satisfied that Nandor is being called out for his insensitive killing and war-like ways— even if its in the past, it’s still very messed up. At the end of the episode, as @hear-them-scream-underground has already stated- you can tell there was a dynamic shift. Although it was a tiny one- a dynamic shift nonetheless. These vampires, most especially Nandor, are too self centered, and this season I think is working to fix that. They all genuinely like eachother and are friends !! They just all have a very hard time showing that, due to their own personal issues; be it a lack of trust, being emotionally stunted from years of violence, fear, feeling of being ignored, etc.

It seems like this season will be equally focused on lighthearted shenanigans and then huge plot development. And I am NOT ready to wait that long to see how all of this plays out !!!

Alert; Nandor is a big dummy head. This bitch is prolonging the tension between Guillermo and the WHOLE vampire household. Guillermo was ready to reveal himself yet Nandor, like the dumb Himbo he is, waved it off once more. This is gonna be a HIGH TENSION season, I repeat !!! HIGH TENSION SEASON !!!

Love you Nandor, but you gotta talk to ur familiar one on one….

Also the SASS Guillermo gave Nandor when Nandor asked him to come over so he could suck his blood?? Scrumptious. Love this energy Guillermo is giving out now, gotta respect the grind.

I actually genuinely hope that Nandor is a very sly and perceptive vampire and that he purposefully acts oblivious and dumb so people can lower their guard around him so he can get information easier or just make people feel more calm around him but like— if it’s revealed he really is a natural big dummy head and not as perceptive as I thought by it being like, him cornering Guillermo, bringing up a bunch of suspicious activity Guillermo has been doing— then him just saying a stupid conclusion that is not connected to the actual truth at all, and that just being a one-time “haha funny look im a dumb character” joke?? I will feel so STUPID if that happens and I have a sneaking suspicion that its an 80% chance it WILL and I’m NOT ok !!!!! : )

ok but when guillermo kept saying that something was up with that zombie familiar, everyone else played it off and THEN when guillermo almost gets murdered and Nandor appears out of nowhere to kill him???? BOY

like i think hes intelligent and dumb at the same time but also like……… in season 1 he blames himself on killing the vampire in the court when clearly guillermo said it was him. Everyone else in the court laughed except Nandor– he maybe didn’t laugh because he thought he was protecting them but… I think Nandor knows what Guillermo is somehow capable of

Yes !!! Nandor is very oddly perceptive, yet not..? I definitely think that is due to him mostly being in battles in his life, of course he is perceptive where he has to be because if you don’t pay attention on the battlefield you can easily die ! But of course, mostly focusing on war and fighting can make someone emotionally/socially stunted, so it’s hard for him to convey what he wants, including his own worries, and feelings !!! A showing of this is also the season finale of season 1, whilst Guillermo is helping Nandor get ready for bed, Nandor gently asked him if he was okay, and then asked him his ancestory ! He trusts Guillermo though, which is why he let’s slide BOTH of Guillermo’s lies to his questions. “I’m fine, just tired.” And “oh Yknow just… sterotypical… mexican pinata farmer-”.

I for one, cannot wait for a dynamic shift- I feel a huge one coming along, and I don’t think Nandor will react too negatively- I feel like he’d actually be impressed with Guillermo’s abilities !!!

I suppose I have gone through all the stages of grief, and I have finally reached acceptance— I finally accept that Nandor the Relentless is a huge, dummy, himbo. And I still love him for it. I so desperately c r a v e for him to be perceptive and know whats going on behind the scenes-and he does, just not in the sense I thought he would. So…

What we know about this himbo so far?

•He cares for his friends- dearly. Though he tries not to show it by making up excuses or even scolding them, he cares for Nadja, Laszlo, Guillermo, and even Collin.

•He is stuck in the past, which makes the way he communicates with others and interpretations of things a bit difficult. It also shows that he doesn’t like change too much. Which makes this Guillermo situation very interesting, as some big change in their dynamic has to happen at some point, either from Guillermo telling him or Nandor finding out

•He, although he tries to deny it or ignore it, craves physical contact. I think he is very lonely, in several ways. He wishes to be closer to his vampire friends, but its hard to as he is trying to make himself a leader of sorts. He also wants to initiate some form of closeness with his familiar, Guillermo. As it has been hinted at before, that familiars are not treated too kindly. I definitely think that Nandor struggles with the way he is perceived, especially when it comes to his familiar, Guillermo. It seems like he just has a difficult time with trying to show how much he appreciates Guillermo and also trying to “cover up” some of his affection for him, by using backhanded compliments or flimsy excuses.

Conclusion of my self discovery; Nandor the Relentless is a vampire who is sadly stuck in the past, he wants to do good and be kind to and show love to his roommates, definitely including his familiar. He is cunning, but also in seemingly most ways, not the brightest. I presume this is from being a warlord/ruler of a war-focused country for years, he is good in a fight and a decently smart planner, but he lacks in social situations most times. I would say he is a bit socially stunted, even though he craves socialization.
