So I needed some inspiration and desided to do the 30 day monster girl challenge. But ended up coming up with an idea of a human school teacher running a school where somehow only “monster” girls end up attending. and then i did them all in 4 days. but they are all there.

Zombie plants
Scientists have discovered how a bacterial parasite turns plants into the living dead.
The bacteria is able to manipulate the way plants grow, causing infected plants to transform their flowers into leaf tissue.
In doing so, the plants are sacrificing their reproductive success and becoming sterile – dead to the future and destined to only benefit the survival of the bacteria parasite (healthy plant seen in the top image and an infected plant can be seen in the middle image).
The parasitic bacterium produces a protein that tricks the plant into transforming its flowers into leaf-like material. This transformation makes the plant more attractive to leafhoppers for settlement - the bacterium’s next victim and host to be (see leafhopper in bottom image).
Once an enticed leafhopper eats the infected zombie plant, the bacteria then catches a ride in their saliva on to the next plant they hop on to – starting the cycle all over again.
This research comes from the labs of Professor Hogenhout at John Innes Centre, and Professors Angenent and Immink at Wageningen University.

On March 8, 1964, “The Last Man on Earth” was not alone! Based on the seminal shocker by Richard Matheson, the film eXXXplores the ho-rror of isolation… and of mutant vampires, of CORPSE! The majestic Vincent Price received the rare opportunity to play the hero… or did he? Though far from perfect, “The Last Man on Earth” is a worthy adaptation of the novel with a few genuinely unnerving sequences. Plus, it essentially created the modern zombie film, and that’s pretty darn boss!

Forgive the lazy background on this piece. Sometimes a piece just needs to be called done move on to the next one. Back to RE3 one last time here. Brief break coming up as I ready to move here and then I’ll be back with plans for some Stormlight Archive pieces, some small stuff for Nier Automata and Legend of Korra, La Casa de Papel, Mandalorian, and a tattoo request. Lots to keep me busy and I’ll likely be shifting things over to a proper art page in the near future (may or may not stick with the shinobi2u name).

A zombie-bitten father tries to save his infant daughter in this bittersweet short film
So you’ve been bitten by a zombie. So long, conscious brain activity, hello craving for human meat. But the protagonist of the short film Cargo has bigger problems than his impending demise: he has to find a way to save his infant daughter, even if he has to die first to do it.
Directed by Ben Howling and Yolanda Ramke, Cargo was a finalist in Tropfest Australia 2013. It’s also a rather clever take on zombie genre tropes, with a story that isn’t about the survival of self, but the survival of another.
Only zombie film that made me cry out of sadness instead of fear
