I think we only truly die, when the memories others have of us also die.

I can’t remember what it was, but I read something that says we have three deaths, one bodily, one when the last person who knew us personally does, and one when all memory of us dies. So most of us have a long time before that third one, and that’s why we tell stories.

Yeah… that haunts me, to be honest.
