I wanted to draw something for Mario’s 35th Anniversary celebration! ⠀
(Actually the real anniversary date was on September 13. when the original Super Mario Bros. was released on NES in Japan in the year -85) but since Super Mario 3D All-Stars for Switch was published today, this is a great opportunity to celebrate that as well. The thing called fan art Friday is real : D⠀

But yeah, Mario franchise has always had a special place in my heart because the games were a huge part of my childhood. In a way, Mario games have often been the unifying factor between my friends and family since we have always played those games together, and sometimes we still do! ⠀
