Kansas City Royals pitcher Yordano Ventura sits in the dugout before a game against the New York Yankees on May 17, 2015 at Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City. Ventura was killed in a car crash Sunday in the Dominican Republic. He was 25. Believed to have been driving under the influence at the time of the crash, Ventura’s death comes on the same day former Indians infielder Andy Marte was killed in a car crash in the Dominican.
