‘In the late 1880s, three families from Cincinnati got together and decided to create a residential compound in Osterville on the bluffs near the mouth of the Centerville River. They called it Hi Ga Ho, an acronym for their family names, Hinkle, Gaff, and Holmes. Here, a representative group poses for a photograph.
