He finds himself hooded and bound with duct tape in the trunk of a car. He’s taken out, bound to a chair with zipties while the bad guys make their demands.

Finally, his wrists bound with zip ties and hooded, he’s dumped at the side of the road so he can do the gang’s bidding.
