Confession:I think Sonia should’ve died in chapter 3 instead of Hiyoko. She was clearly on the path of a redemption arc, but they decided to kill her off before she got there. I remember hearing somewhere that Fuyuhiko was supposed to die in her place, but that would’ve made Peko’s sacrifice a waste. Except Hiyoko’s death has that same problem, because it means that Mahiru’s death was a waste too. Honestly my way of fixing it is having Sonia die instead. She was even the one to suggest Hiyoko head to the music venue for a mirror, so it would make sense for Hiyoko to ask Sonia to get it for her, she heads to the music venue and sees Mikan murdering Ibuki and gets subsequently killed. Problem solved
