because the truth is

you were never not

on my mind,

I have never

not remembered you.

I bear the feel of you, the

thoughts of you

every

single

day.

They asked me

how often do I

still think about you,

the truth is,

I still always do.

Darling, even though you

didn’t stay,

you will

always linger

in the back of my mind, or on

the corner of my lips or the

tips of my fingers.

Traces of you will

always live in me,

on me.

I remember,

I know I will

always remember.

and though at times

I crave to just forget,

sometimes,

I still wish that

I don’t.
