Work in progress of my new Dynasty Warriors OC, Li Ru. He’s among many historical figures that haven’t made a playable debut, which I thought will be fun to do my own rendition of.

Last year, I actually drew him in a modern period outfit for one of Koei-Warrior’s art events (you can see him here). He’ll be in his Han Dynasty time outfit in my new drawing.

I’ll be doing an action pose illustration with an environment and a model sheet, so it’ll be a while until you get to see the finished version of this guy.
